If the Blazers are behind this fuck all of them

Stotts: Great job against Utah. Your low post scoring and passing ability is something this team has been lacking for 15 years or so.

Nurkic: Thanks coach. I wanna help anyway I can.

Stotts: Great. Step out about 20 feet and see how the view us from here. I'll need a lap for every shot inside 24 feet

    He only missed twice

Crowded gym, I see. Nice to see the kid working.

His stroke looks great. Surprised he's not a better FT shooter.

The knock on him has always been above the shoulders (motivation, concentration, etc) with dame/cj holding down the lockeroom I think the kid will thrive. I got no issues with him stepping out to hit the 3ball. The comparison I always liked for Nurk was Marc Gasol and he has worked that into his game and made him better for it.

He better not shoot a fucking 3 the entire time he is here. I completely have a problem with that.

He should improve his <50% free throw shooting. He is so big that that opponents foul him a lot inside, knowing the price is cheap.

The shots he practices aren't his fault. It's Stotts.

With the form and rotation he is showing, you would think he would shoot a higher percentage from the FT line.

Nurkic like a lot of poor free throw shooters, shoots with his arms not his legs.
It's not very noticeable... But it's there. If he fixes that hitch I imagine he'll be north of 75%

Agreed....that is why watching him shoot 3's where he does use his legs a little more, you know he's got the ability to be a better FT shooter. If someone can work with him to develop better habits, that should go up.

He went 3-4 last game I think it more focus at the line for him. It also show how unhappy he was with Denver.

Impressive! I'd rather have him inside the paint though.

Stotts has no need for such a coach. In the Stotts system, big men play like small forwards. As the video shows, Nuric is being groomed the same as all other Stotts big men.
