That Greg would get injured and he, Papag, could take that injury moment to make it all about himself and how awesome his prediction skills are.
wait what? you predicted that you dont build an offense around someone? how does that even make a shred of sense? sillyness.
you cant back up your bullshit. big surprise. but im the troll. you lose. tell me... what did you predict???
PapaG, calm down. Everyone needs to. This is possibly the worst day in the history of the franchise. Bitching does nothing.
Welcome to ignore. I already explained what I "predicted". Projecting your anger on me isn't accomplishing a thing.
Hey Papa G, anyone who comes on here to say "See I told you so" after an injury to a guy like Greg is a complete wanker.
I'm a homer and not a doctor, and I didn't even stay at a Holiday Inn Express. First, I don't think healed-up broken kneecaps cause loss of athleticism like, say, torn ACL or something. Second, I think that Greg's still plenty young enough to continue his skill development. Third, no one's debating that Greg's defensive ability is leaps and bounds above where it was last year due in part to recovery from MF and increase in BBIQ. I still think that he'll be great defensively, better offensively and no loss of athleticism. Possibly as soon as April.
Not sure what he knows or doesn't know....but: 1. He isn't a doctor and neither am I. 2. My opinion is that they will not know/announce the extent of any further problems regarding ligaments until after the surgery is done. So, I think it's a little premature to assume this injury will not have lingering effects on Greg. Obviously, I hope it's just the knee cap, but they won't know until later. 3. This injury is pushing me to the "injury prone camp". I mean 1 wrist, 1 MF knee, 1 knee cap injury, now this...a serious fracture that occurred without contact...I guess I'm finally feeling that the writing is on the wall with Greg and he's not a centerpiece that can be relied on...
Ankle shouldn't count in my opinion. Almost every basketball player suffers multiple ankle sprains a year, some sideline the player, some don't.
I say tank it. It might be crass and unconventional, but we'll be stronger next year as a result of it. It will also give us some insurance if GO has long term residual effects from this injury.
Probably right, I almost didn't put it in there but I was on a roll. I agree the ankle doesn't really count...deleting...
