    • The team may sign a free agent for one season only, for 50% of the disabled player's salary or the amount of the Non-Taxpayer Mid-Level exception, whichever is less.
    • The team may trade for a player in the last season of his contract only (including any option years)2, who is making no more than 50% plus $100,000 of the disabled player's salary, or the amount of the Non-Taxpayer Mid-Level exception plus $100,000, whichever is less.
    • The team may claim a player on waivers who is in the last season of his contract only (including any option years), who is making no more than 50% of the disabled player's salary, or the amount of the Non-Taxpayer Mid-Level exception, whichever is less.

I have never experienced this serious of an injury, so it's hard for me to say, but I think a major part of recovery for anything is attitude. He will have Dame beside him, motivating him. I think that will drive him next year while he recuperates. That's all hopefully thinking. Really, I just want Nurkic to keep his head straight. We've all saw what happens if you don't.

Fuck the talk about anything other than Nurk as a person.

I don't give a shit about the Blazers. I don't care about the playoffs. I don't care if this means other players get a chance to step up or what it means signing players going forward.

The thing I feel worse about this is how this must feel for Nurk. He busted his ass off all season and rewarded with this. I'm so done with the NBA this season.

If it’s a complete break of the tibia/fibula (which I think it might be based on location) the expected recovery time is 3-6 months plus rehab. My completely uneducated guess is that he will return in early 2020. I pray his career isn’t over though.

It looked higher up the leg than the ankle to me. Granted I only watched a single replay before I got sick to the stomach.

So the question is... any ligaments or clean break? Clean Break and you have a chance to play next year, and return to form in two years like PG

Was it just me, or when dame got kicked in the knee and was holding it were you also holding your breath? Then, right when I let out a sigh of relief when I realize he was okay Nurk breaks his leg.

Also, anyone else blaming Seth Curry for this injury? If he had hit his free throw we wouldn’t have gone into OT.
