Noel? God that would be a horrible frontcourt. Noel and Asik.... they'd never score..... ever.

I'm going to be really bummed if Houston gets Turner and Hawes. That makes them so much more dangerous.

You could almost say that. You know how the Blazers stick Batum on a PG if they start getting going? The Warriors do that with Green, and he does a great job. He plays great defense, hustles, goes for every loose ball, contests every shot, etc. etc. All the things that don't show up on a boxscore, he does.

His offensive game is mostly poop in the toilet. It comes and goes, but he's a fun player to watch because you'll notice all the little things that don't show up on a boxscore but influences the outcome of a game.

Yeah I love that guy too. Guy is a great rebounder for his size, defends like hell, hes very physical and tough, talks a lot of shit with the opposition. His offense does suck but hes a good passer and much improved 3 pt shooter.

    Gregory Pietras @Handles_Messiah
Chad Ford reports the Bobcats looking to make trades to win now, considering dealing MKG: insider.espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id

I don't think we have anything to offer for "winning right now"

That's hilarious. Jordan broke the kid's spirit when he dominated him in practice.

I assume MJ is not going to dump him. (Yes I know it is MJ we are talking about) But I would imagine they are trying to use him to get a starter. I would love to get this guy, but he would be a bench player for us. Until he can shoot consistently he will just have to be an energy guy off the bench for most teams.

I like the idea of MKG, but he's not what we need right now. Adding him to our bench would only further take away experience. We already have Robinson and CJ, with Nards waiting in the wings. We need veteran guys like Wright and Mo. Not young guys who have no experience at all.

I actually agree with you. If you look at true contenders, they don't have a bunch of young guys. They have a nice mix of older veterans, youth and an established star or two. Having a superstar helps too!

We already have a ton of youth. Dame is young, Batum is still young, even Lopez is still young. If we were going to make a trade, it would be for some older guys who have been there before. Adding MKG would be a long term thing, and I'm not really sure we even need that. Batum is money right now.

LeBron has scored 25 or fewer points in 6 straight games, tied for 3rd-longest streak of his career (longest was 11 games in rookie season)

That's just damn impressive. 14k rebounds... I mean, you get what? 10-15 a game on good nights? That is just insane!

Erik Spoelstra, on getting Greg Oden up to speed at some point, "We'll get to that one when we get to that one."
