I remember Bogut and Przybilla getting into it at the RG. Zags you must have been very torn in that fight!

People always say I like all white players. Simply not true. I can't stand JJ Redick, Jimmer or Hansbrough. I think Birdman's really ghey and Jason Kidd was one of my most hated players of all time.

LOL--three of my favorites. I'd welcome all three on the team, right the heck now.

Yeah, three of my favorite skillsets are long-range shooting, BBIQ and toughness/motor (Nate might call it "scrap"). I really like Lillard and am excited for CJ b/c of the first two. I was pushing to do whatever possible to get Steph in the draft. I like Jimmer and JJ b/c they have the first two skillsets, not b/c they're white. While I acknowledge that Wall and Rose are great players, I enjoy watching Lillard/Curry/Kyrie much more.

Hansbrough (much like Nick Collison and Joel Przybilla, also white) plays every game as if he's about to be cut that night, and doesn't take crap from anyone. I think Robinson can get there, which is one of the reasons I was excited to get him. Faried (also one of my favorites) seemed a lot like that.

GSW @ LAC averaged 1.35 fouls per minute. This game could have been REALLY good if the refs didn't stop it every other possession.

As a GS fan it was frustrating as all hell to watch but I feel pretty good about the game in retrospect. Paul had an epic game, the refs had their mitts all over the game, its our first road game and the Clips were desperate for the win. We could have used Barnes' scoring off the bench or Ezeli's strength and athleticism on DJ and Griffin. Felt like the Clips played pretty much their A game while the Warriors never really got on track at all. Curry was hot shooting, but logged a horrendous 11 TO. Remove the anomalous amount of TOs and referee participation and I think that easily accounts for the 11 points we lost by.

Furthermore, its really hard to get through the playoffs when your team relies heavily on working the referees and faking contact where nothing exists. The game changes. The Clippers sort of remind me of the Dallas Mavericks pre-championship team. Dirk and the rest of the team were all soft whiny bitches and they never actually ended up winning anything until Carlisle came in and Dirk sacked up and just dominated the playoffs without expecting to get bailed out on every possession with a flop. The great teams do flop and work the refs, but those teams know when they need to actually put a good shot up, play D, etc. on their own.

And speaking of mentally weak, DeAndre Jordan looks much better this season but what terrible body language last night. The Clips have been totally classless lately. Apparently they refused to attend chapel with the Warriors before the game, which is unprecedented in the NBA (I had no idea there was a chapel service for both teams before every NBA game). They came into this game knowing they were going to pull some feisty fake-tough guy shit whether it was warranted or not and then they also simultaneously do the flop city act as well. I'm glad MJax grinded the game to a halt and went right at DeAndre Jordan's feeble mind. The Clips will cry foul every step of the way but they could not be any more deserving.

Is that actually something they do? I too had never heard of that.

I admit my opinion might be a bit clouded by the fact I think the Clippers are horribly overrated and a bunch of wanna-bes, but does it surprise you that the Clippers are acting tough and entitled?

Chris Paul is the western conference version of Kevin Garnett or Paul Pierce, imho. And Matt Barnes just comes off as a want to be tough guy.

Not that I didn't wish Portland had a little more moxie to their game, but the Clippers gotta earn shit before they talk shit. For all the praise they got last year, and are getting this year, they still lost in the first round of the playoffs last year, with HCA.

Sure Memphis was really good in the playoffs last year (and GSW beating Denver wasn't nearly as an upset as people made it out to be), but the Clippers were easily beaten by the Grizz.

Chris Paul whines, Blake Griffin whines, Doc Rivers was around two of the biggest whiners and phonies in the game, so it's no surprise the whole team does.

And it's amazing how much blind praise Doc Rivers gets. He was pretty much Nate McMillan before he got KG and Ray Allen that summer.

And sure, it's just 2 games, but where is the defense that Doc Rivers was supposed to preach? they're giving up 115.5 ppg for fucks sake.

Go Bogut! That's awesome. No hesitation. He looked like Joel P. the way he was calling Jordan out. I want Bogut now.

I never thought it was possible for true blooded Blazers fans to hate a team more than the Lakers. But these Clippers are making it very possible. Fuck the Clip Show.
