For what exactly? At this point they're in too deep. They need to find a way to win now. There's no way they're going to blow it up with all those huge contracts.

    Sam Amick @sam_amick
Grizzlies center Marc Gasol, I'm told, has a Grade 2 MCL sprain. No surgery required. Out indefiniitely.

Here is a description of the 15 million per season Brook:

Big body... Very nice skills around the basket... A go-to guy in the post... Effective offensive player... A little bit mechanical... Doesn't pass the ball very well... Must improve rebounding and overall toughness.

Here is the description of the 5 million per season Robin:
Has the size and mobility that you're looking for in an NBA center... Runs the floor pretty well... Plays physical... Raw and mechanical offensively.

For the Blazer's needs I prefer someone like Robin. And for 15 million a year I prefer someone like Hibbert.

The Bulls fans sitting by us at the game were very polite. They were always cheering for the positives their team did, not booing or anything negative when we messed up.

Atlanta currently gets the better 2014 pick of Brooklyn or their own. Boston gets the worse pick of Brooklyn or Atlanta

2015 Atlanta can swap picks with Brooklyn.
    2016 Boston gets Brooklyn's pick.
2017 Boston can swap picks with Brooklyn
    2018 Boston gets Brooklyn's pick

There are no lottery protections on any of these picks, even if they are the #1 overall pick for Andrew Wiggins. If the Nets had the worst record in the league the next five years Atlanta would get two top4 picks and Boston would get three top4 picks.

I hope Chicago does and trades Rose to us!

Obviously its a huge disappointment if torn. But its a very common injury. Football players tear ACL's all the time. Sometimes they tear the same one two or three years in a row. Players can make a complete recovery. The main thing is having no damage to the rest of the knee. If a player has problems with meniscus or cartridge, which can happen at the time of an ACL tear, that is when recovery is less likely.

I think he's talking more about trading players like Noah, deng and boozer

Can you put their stats up side by side. Wonder of Brook is 3Xs the player?

I'll try to find the link, but they said the average games missed for players with the same injury as Gasol is 23 games.

Made a quick sweep through my NBA Injury Database and found 8 grade 2 MCL diagnoses. The average number of missed games was 23.

I get what you're saying, and it makes sense that with LMA in the fold you would prefer the defensive center. But Brook is paid appropriately given his skillset. Guys like Robin are not that hard to find. Guys with Brook's size, scoring ability, and efficiency are extremely tough to find. Even if he does have some big holes in his game hes going to get paid because that skillset is a very finite commodity and then you can add a Robin or similar defensive role player without too much difficulty.

Kings are good this year. They've just had a tough schedule, having to play us twice.

Per sources, Derrick Rose tore his right meniscus and will need surgery.

    Adam McGinnis @adammcginnis
RT @KCJHoop DRose will undergo surgery in the near future. Until that is completed, it's known if he will miss season or not.
