    Congratulations, Denny!

The Blazers could have had Seattlite Nate Robinson, but didn't, and all posters here agreed that he would be terrible.

    The Bulls were smarter.

Blazers could've had a great bench this season. Nate, Birdman, etc. Olshey tanked.

The Bulls weren't smarter. Nate was on a non guaranteed $800K sized contract. The Bulls almost cut him loose in January, but Rose wasn't coming back and Kirk Hinrich missed a few games and they realized they needed him.

I've been posting all season long that Nate is our best guard. I've also been posting that Belinelli should be our starting SG.

I think the Bulls will lose both.

If the Blazers signed both, you'd have an instant bench upgrade. You'd start Belinelli and have Wes to back up SG and SF. Nate to fill in whenever and as much as you need him.

I'd keep JJ and use the #10 pick on a C. I think the Blazers would have between $3M and $7M in cap space left over, too.

JJ at $4M, Nate and Belinelli at $2.5M each.

If Hickson were $4M, everyone here would agree with me about him. As for Robinson, Olshey says, first he'll fill us up on needle-movers for a few years, then he'll improve the bench.

I don't think so. Who do you think will have the cap room and want to sign him for more? It's a new CBA.

If we can keep him for $4 mil; I'd take him in a heartbeat

There's an awful lot of teams with cap space this summer. I think someone will overpay him.

You can roll over your cap space by signing him to whatever cap space you have for one season.

When he becomes a UFA after next season, you'd have his full contract as cap space again.

Personally, I think he'd be a great backup PF/C for any team, but at $8M he's making starter money. Who wants him for that much, I ask again?

I guess we'll see. I think he's going to get paid more than the Blazers want to pay him.

There were 10 teams with cap space last season. Another 14 with MLE type money to offer. Nobody wanted him last season.

    We'll see, eh?

Well for one he was released and had a partial season of good output. This season, he was a leader in rebounding, fg% and a high PER playing undersized. This summer will be different

This year he put up 12 and 10 with 68 DD or something like that. He will get a decent size contract.

Different situation. He had just been waived by Sacramento, he had a string of good games at the end of the season, but this is a case of him being consistent over the whole season. I think he will have assuaged some fears with his play this season. I don't think he's worth more than five million per year, but I think he'll get closer to 8.
