Joakim Noah was the MVP of that game. And pretty much every Bulls game.

Why isn't Thibodeau runaway favorite for COTY? That guy could take OUR bench and make it compete.

He didn't explore his opportunities because he knew he had a good thing going in Portland. Had we rejected him, he would have spread his tentacles and gotten offers from all the cute little fishies.

I'll post one more time about JJ. The new CBA is just harsh and punitive toward cap offenders. To sign a guy like JJ to $8M/season is exactly what teams want to avoid. Especially since JJ has played on 3 teams in 5 seasons - you have to consider if you can move his contract down the road if you need to. You've got your GM telling the rest of the GMs that he sucks at defending the rim, that you'd take him in a reserve role only, and you aren't even making him a QO to make him RFA.

The CBA is so harsh that OKC traded Harden, Dallas is unlikely to try to keep OJ Mayo, etc. I see the league becoming a real star's league with few guys making huge contracts and everyone else making $5M and under.

Plus the teams that supposedly have cap space would only do so by renouncing guys they're likely to keep. You think Atlanta, for example, wants to "upgrade" from Josh Smith to JJ? I think they're going to figure out a better replacement or keep him.

Would you take Curry over Parker?

Man I love Lillard but I would absolutely love Curry over Lillard. When he is on not much will stop him.

I hope that Lillard can become Curry.

Dame did the same thing Curry is doing at SA. They can't guard good shooting, quick PGs

Problem for GS is they're prone to making dumbass mistakes like this. Unlike DEN, Spurs can capitalize.

Steph is tired. This game is far from over because the other Warriors are going to be cold not getting any shots. Someone else will have to pick it up when Steph goes the bench.

He had glimpses of that against Golden State and New York too (and San Antonio more than once)

Lillard dropped 37 against Curry in his gym. Lill was pulling up from five feet behind the line, etc, just like Curry is doing tonight in SA.

Game learned. We posted about the same time. I was at that game. Was also at the game where Lillard dropped 38 on the Lakers. The guy can shoot just like Curry. And he was only a rookie.

I think Curry is a better shooter, but Lillard is healthier. :)

If Lillard can raise his 3pt % to 40 or so, it would be hard to leave him open ever.
