Are they? Doc Rivers gets a lot of credit for his coaching ability, but he had one foot out the door in Boston.

That's a different story. I would want both. I guess Philly and Utah can absorb it as well, so unfortunately there is competition for it. I read this will not happen until after they work out a deal with Tristan Thompson.

I happen to think McHale is one of the worst coaches in the modern era. No matter what Boston was up to, you put these two guys next to each other, I pick Rivers everytime

I had to update that pick information. It looks like the picks are from the Clippers and the Kings and both are protected through #55....not worth much.

Wow, I'm a bit shocked. McHale is a pretty solid coach, IMO. He's a God awful GM though

"Alex, I'll take, Who is Cedi Osman for $200 please."

A 2nd round pick this year who it doesn't look like has been signed. He would be perfect for Portland. They could stash him overseas where he has been playing anyhow and it wouldn't count against their cap nor would they have to put him on their roster.

http://www.draftexpress.com/profile/Cedi-Osman-7133/ A 20 year old SF that would be one of those 'stock up' pieces Olshey was talking about when they drafted Diaz.

McHale actually starts to look okay next to Vinny DelNegro......but Rivers is highly overrated. He actually thinks his kid can play at the NBA level.....

    Their roster is meh.

Unless they give up KCP or Drummond anything else is a waste of time.

Oh, and they aren't giving up either.

I am so hoping we get Steve Blake from them, just to be sure he gets his 4th tour of duty on the Portland roster.

I think you can add Stanley Johnson to that short list.

Re: Detroit - I bet they'd love to unload Brandon Jennings. I'd do it, but only if they give us Spencer Dinwiddie at the same time.

That is more embarrassing for them than Ty Lawson. Unless they kicked him out of practice and/or tried to get him help........why the fuck would you admit knowing that and still letting him play?
