I believe I predicted 44, that was my conservative guess.

The Blazers would have to go 19-6 the rest of the way for me to be right

You can sign me up for that. If they could manage that record, including a pair of wins over the Nuggets April 5th/7th, that'd probably be enough to get us up to the 3 seed again.

We need another 13 game winning streak!

I did the Price is Right thing because I wanted the highest real prediction (not counting the 82-0 ones). So I need 20-5 for my 54 wins!

Blazers on pace to make my prediction low. That's a good thing

I am with you on this looking for 54 wins that now seem possible if the Blazers will make decisions that optimize the use of talent for best scoring and defending production.

Please provide your take on the Kanter signing and the obvious minimizing of Leonards minutes.

You know, only 6 picked the Blazers to finish over 50 wins!!
I'd say it's looking very possible!

51 wins in the WC is like 60 in the EC!

OK Orion. The Enes Kanter signing is a major boost for the Blazers that gives more power to the Center position. Terry is playing Enes as replacement for Meyers and in the first game found Enes to perform an outstanding debut, and has used these following games to further work him in and assess his talents.

The optimized use of Center talent for the Blazers can now count on the PNR excellence that Nurk and Dame perform, Nurk close shots, rebounding, passing and assists, Enes close shots, rebounding, and screens, and Meyers swish3 shooting, dunks, rebounds, screens, assists, and passing. Recognizing that Meyers was superb in the UTA Jazz game Jan 30 and his Blazer leading 3P%, TS%, and eFG% statistics prove that he can add important contributions that allow the Center position to be averaging 36+ points per game.

Having 3 Centers with different talents that will force opponents to respond to varied offensive threats that include multiple PRN, in the paint scoring, and swish3 threats and keep them off balance. Nurk has developed into our rim defender leader, and Meyers is much improved and earning the same stats as Zach, and Enes is weak on defense. Nurk should start, playing 24 min to make 18 points, with Enes and Meyers providing backup and splitting the other 24 min to together score another 18+ points. Meyers should be averaging 9 points on swish3s per game. Scoring from the Center position is the improvement that the Blazers need to be competitive in the playoffs. If we optimize use of talent, this can be the year for the NBA championship.

Ha! Yes. I trusted the all wise @ThePosterFormerlyKnownAsTheHCP . I was definitely miss led on that one.

If I remember correctly though, I also said that the secret to life is to set one's expectations low. With that said, I'm very happy with the results of this season!

If I was to revise my estimate at this point, I'm thinking we can grab 51 wins, and perhaps even 52 or 53 if we pick up a few 'unexpected wins'.

I went low yes but my idea was that this incredible health streak the Blazers have had most certainly could not last. Lets hope i stay wrong.

Theres really no wins thatd be unexpected at this point. We'll actually be favored in all but 2 games.
