Hey kj, I saw you mentioned you went to Jason Lee grade school. What years were you there as my mom was a librarian at Jason Lee for a couple years before she got sick and had to retire.
When I lived in Canada for a while, this was a running joke. That people in the United States didn't understand the concept of continents.
lol. She may have been there towards the end of the 70's but I am thinking early 80's. She was only there a couple years before she had to retire.
But USA citizens are called Americans while Mexico citizens are referred to as Mexicans and in Canada they are referred to as Canadians. United State citizens aren't referred to as United Statesman.

Actually Canadians also refer to themselved as Americans. Just like how we may call ourselves, Oregonians, US Citizens, or Americans. We typically tend to think we have a monopoly on being “American”, but we don't. Edit: Dont know if the central Americas and Mexicans refer to themselves as Americans or not, but they could and they’d be correct.
