Yeah, the Packers are a long way from the Chiefs' overall offense. "Mahomes potential" basically means an athletic quarterback capable of zipping accurate lasers to all parts of the field, from a variety of platforms and arm angles. That could also describe the young Aaron Rodgers, himself.

I would have liked to see them trade up into late first to get a LB like Kenneth Murray. Stats prove that guys in first round become productive players much more often. Browns traded down so much over the years, thinking they were such good talent evaluators, and it sure didn't work out well. I like trading up for a guy you really like.

Here's what I am talking about. Traded down in the third round when some decent wide receivers were available. I don't expect Beckham to be with them much longer and this draft had a lot of good WR's.

I think Danztler was a great pick in round 3. I was kind of hoping the 49ers would find a way to swing a third rounder to take him.

Then they pass up on a really good receiver in Duvernay, third most catches in CFB this year, and a good organization like Baltimore trades into the third round right behind them to get him.

49ers' left tackle Joe Staley is retiring and the 49ers are acquiring Trent Williams as a replacement, for a future third and 2020 5th.

Just on paper (screen I guess) at a glance really like the vikings and Miami’s draft so far.

I think the Packers have had a very... strange draft. You never know how these guys will work though.

Drafting RB AJ Dillon, TE/FB Josiah Deguara, G Jon Runyan, C Jake Hanson, and G Simon Stepaniak suggests they're all-in with the zone scheme running attack.

I think we will probably see 3 RBs utitilized in the running game similar to the 49ers during this last season and we might even see Aaron Jones used more for his receiving skills like Austin Ekeler.

Yeah, I am hoping they address that need. We will see.

Cowboys had a nice draft and got a steal in CeeDee. Should be a solid team come fall. Looking forward to life after Garrett.
