They may end up re-signing Brady or just begin the rebuilding process.

Ok, I know everyone hates the Patriots so this wont be popular. I think Brady actually held them back this year. His age has caught up him, and he’s kind of a bottom tier QB at this point in terms of what he’s physically capable of. He’s obviously still mentally sharp and has an edge because he’s had the best career in the history of football. I think they’ll go draft a QB, or replace him with one of the FA’s and be a better team next year.

I agree. Brady is about done with his shelf life as a top tier QB.

You might be happy to hear Patriots are checking out Marcus Mariota in FA.

I am Duck fan, but I kind of think Mariota was wrecked by Tenn... So many Coaches and OC’s and at times terrible OL’s. I think he may be mentally kind of done.

I think Chargers, Dolphins, or Panthers will be great fits for Herbert. Chargers have the pieces in place offensively and a decent enough defense with good pass rushers. Dolphins really improved last season and they have so many draft picks and iirc FA money, good coaching too. Panthers are basically Chargers east.

Most analysts have Burrow going #1 to Bengals, Tua #5 to Dolphins, and Herbert #6 to Chargers. But that may change with trades.

They could always trade up and make things interesting.

I think Tua lands somewhere unexpectedly via trade. Maybe the Raiders or Falcons?

I love the NFL offseason, it’s honestly a lot more fun to follow than the NBA in my opinion because the field is more level and a good draft/FA signing can turn a 4-12 team to a playoff team.

    Seattle:

Let Clowney walk if he wants more than 18mil per year.

Cut Britt, Dickson, and maybe Fluker.

Sign Conklin (4/60) and Griffen (2/22). Re-sign Reed, Fant, Hunt, B-Jax, Thorpe, Jefferson, and Hollister.

Draft? Well that’s hard to predict but my dream picks?

1, 27: Tyler Biadasz, OL, Wisconsin
2, 59: Jaylon Johnson, CB, Utah
2, 64: Troy Dye, LB, Oregon
3, 103: Josh Uche, EDGE, Michigan
    4, 133: Donovan Peoples-Jones, WR, Michigan
4, 145: Anthony Gordon, QB, Washington State
5, 155: Najee Harris, RB, Alabama
6, 214: Zach Johnson, OL, North Dakota State
7, 248: Nyles Pinckney, DL, Clemson

Man I hope Seattle doesn’t pay that... he’s really good in the run game but 3 sacks last season doesn’t cut it...

    Like your dream picks.
Not sure Id want to pay Clowney over 20 million year?
I hope they do re-sign Hollister.
Cut all three of the guys you mentioned.
If they could get Shanualt Jr WR CO. at 27?

I think Lockett, DK, and Ursua will be a good trio next season, also wouldn’t be surprised to see Gordon back, especially if they let weed be used/not tested for in the new CBA. Grabbing defense or offensive line is definitely what the Hawks need to do in the first round.
