<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (CelticBalla32 @ Dec 11 2006, 11:14 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>I would rather deal Gomes than Big Al. I mean this is a person from RealGM who supposedly has a "source" (which nobody seems to ever reveal), but take it for what it's worth. If we can swing a deal for Iverson without giving up Al Jefferson or Gerald Green, I will do 7 backflips and my nipples will get hard.</div>holy crap, if that were the deal, I would literally sh*t myself. but you just know that king would want green or jefferson. personally, I would rather trade green. Jefferson is going to help alot on the boards and down low. A line-up of Iverson, Pierce, Wally, Al and Perk would probably be a title contender. sh*t<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>You mean you could never see AI in Charlotte? You said Boston. Also dogma, check out my post above yours, I edited it with a LOT of info regarding the Celtics.</div>oops. yeah, I meant charlotte.

Another little piece from RealGM:http://realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/437...nt_for_iverson/Celtics, Warriors, and Kings Lead Hunt For Iverson<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Boston was in the hunt for Allen Iverson on Monday, with a deal that would include Al Jefferson and Theo Ratliff with his $11.7-million contract. Jefferson said neither Rivers nor general manager Danny Ainge had spoken with him about it. "I don't want it to happen, especially my name involved in it," Jefferson said. Told after the game that Jefferson doesn't want to be traded, Rivers said: "He won't be. I try to stay out of it because I have to coach the players and I don't want to lie to the players. But I'm pretty comfortable in saying that Al will be here." The Sixers reportedly want to include forward Chris Webber, who has $43 million remaining on his contract, but teams are backing away at that idea. Golden State and Sacramento also appear to be among the teams most likely to acquire Iverson. Indiana emerged Monday as a strong player, with discussions centering around Jamaal Tinsley and Stephen Jackson.</div>This is really nothing new, but it's something. I am happy that it lists the Celtics first, if that means anything lol.

I have heard stuff like that, in the past 24 hours, about 9 different teams.

Bulls turn on the ai trade...... Paxson though twice about itIverson's Nameplate Removed As Sixers Hope For Bulls' Gordon 12th December, 2006 - 9:01 am New York Daily News - The Bulls took themselves out of the running for Allen Iverson yesterday, while the Sixers are still hopeful that they can wind up with Chicago's Ben Gordon, along with expiring contracts, when they trade their disgruntled superstar. According to several league execs, the Bulls decided they do not want to bring Iverson and his headstrong attitude to a team featuring many young players. The Bulls also did not think that Iverson and coach Scott Skiles could co-exist. Iverson missed his third straight game last night, as the Sixers continued to hold discussions to trade him. Although the Bulls don't want Iverson, they still might be involved in a three-way deal, with Golden State ending up with Iverson. In the three-way scenario, the Warriors would send power forward Troy Murphy to Chicago as part of a package of players. The Sixers are intrigued by Gordon, who has had his ups and downs with Skiles, even as he has emerged as a promising young scorer. Other Bulls mentioned going to Philly in a potential deal have been P.J. Brown and ex-Knick Michael Sweetney, each in the final year of his contract. Iverson's nameplate was gone and his locker was cleaned out last night in Philly.

Dustin, your goin fu*kin crazy over these Iverson rumors!!! :HAHAHA:</div> [IMG] I know.http://realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/437...ongst_10_teams/Golden State the Favorite Amongst 10 Teams?<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>According to a league source, Golden State is the front-runner for Allen Iverson, offering a package that would include guard Baron Davis and a couple of young players. According to another league source, the Celtics remain on the list of teams in contention for Iverson's services, along with Minnesota, Indiana, Chicago, Denver, Charlotte, Sacramento, Dallas, and the Clippers. "He would be upset if that happened," said Pierce about Davis being traded to the Sixers. "Going to Philadelphia? He's a California guy all the way."</div>From the sounds of it, Golden State and Boston are still the 2 highest bidders (therefore nothing has really changed since last night). Also, I found it a bit interesting Pierce said that. And Pierce/Baron are great friends, so yes he does have some credibility when he says this. Also:Maggette and Livingston reportedly offered for Iverson:<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>One Allen Iverson rumor, reported by the Boston Herald, has the Clippers offering Shaun Livingston and Corey Maggette. ?If (King) can get that deal, then he?d have to take it,? a league executive said. ?Livingston is a great player - a 6-7 point guard.?</div>Well, I don't know how true this is, but if that is true then the Iverson bidding has to be over. That is a great deal, and I don't see how they can get any better. Livingston has the potential to be a perenneal All-Star in this league while Maggette is a boarderline All-Star player right now. That would be a great deal for Philly, although more would have to be involved to match salaries. But I don't even know what to believe anymore. In the past 15 hours I have been a few reports saying we will not trade Al Jefferson, then a few saying we offered him with Ratliff/West/Telfair. Who the hell knows? Make a deal today, Billy King. I am begging you!

LOL CB32 is going crazy with all these rumors, but I woulden't put any stock really in anything untill it happens because just like CB32 said one hour you could hear one thing and the next hour you hear the complete opposite.

I'm hearing Sacramento in the rumors. Who would they give up? Bonzi Wells would be a good fit in Philadelphia, but he's in Houston. Kenny Thomas would more than likely be in the deal, with someone like Quincy Douby or Jason Hart as one of the fillers. I don't even remember the King lineup now.

Kings Backed out!<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>The Sacramento Kings are out of the Allen Iverson derby.``We're staying away,'' Kings co-owner Joe Maloof said in a telephone interview with Scott Soshnick. ``We're not going forward.''Maloof did not cite a reason why they will not be exploring a trade for the former Most Valuable Player</div>-realgm.comI am pretty happy with this because I was not looking forward with having Bibby on the team. I would rather have younger players, expiring contracts, and a pick.

That's great news, and it's looking better and better for Boston:- Sac-Town, the leading contender today, has backed out.- Minny can't get it done.- Denver says no.- LAC won't trade Livingston.Look like it's between Boston/Golden State right now. But who knows. I am getting sick and tired of this BS though, make a trade. Danny Ainge is reportedly low-balling Billy King and in his last offer, he didn't offer Jefferson, Green, OR Ryan Gomes. That's crap, we aren't getting AI without giving one of them.I say: Ratliff, Bassy, West, Gomes, and a lottery protected pick for Iverson/filler. That could very well get it done, but Ainge is playing hard to get. If he screws this up, with the minimal amount of teams in the serious running, I'll be mad.

This just in Billy King cant get deal fast enough for Iverson, so he decides to retire, breaking the hearts of thousands of Boston and Golden State fans. [IMG]
