Best fit is Minnesota. Ideally I'd want Hudson, Jaric, Blount, and Reed and a 1st for AI.

Now the chances of Iverson going to the team I'm about to mention is very very slim for a ton of reasons, but how great would this trade be for the teams. Chicago Bulls. Wouldnt this solve the Bulls' problems with a number 1 option? They also would trade a lot of value for Iverson in return. They could trade away a combo of Gordon, Deng, Noicioni, or Hinrich. I thnk Noicioni could play alongside Iggy really well as the fours. Gordon or Hinrich could fill in at the point where Philly is weak as well. Now the chances of this happening like I said is very slim of even being mentioned by the Philadeplia organization probably. Now no matter how much I would love the Chi/Phila trade, I guess the best situation would be with Minny.

If he's dealt to Minnesota I think it will end up being a three team trade.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>The Dallas Mavericks and Boston Celtics have emerged as the leaders to trade for disgruntled Philadelphia 76ers star Allen Iverson, league executives told Yahoo! Sports on Friday night. According to sources, 76ers general manager Billy King has targeted Mavericks guard Devin Harris ? a favorite of the executive's going back to Harris' college days at Wisconsin ? as a primary piece to a potential package with Dallas. Mavericks owner Mark Cuban wouldn't deny that he's engaged in trying to make a deal for Iverson but wrote in an email to Yahoo! Sports on Friday night, "We wouldn't trade Devin." King has been telling teams that he wants a combination of expiring contracts, young players and draft picks for Iverson. Sixers owner, Ed Snider, flatly said Friday night: "We'll trade him."</div>http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news;_ylt=Ajkc...=yhoo&type=lgnsCaught this blurb on a Mavs forum, kind of surprized me. I for one wouldn't want AI on this team, even though a trade could occur since we do have large expiring contracts. I just don't think Cubes is one that's going to add AI's contract to our payroll.

I agree Rok, and it really doesn't make sense for the Mavericks to bring in AI. They don't really need him to put them over the hump... they have the right group of guys in Dallas that can go out there and win a championship. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Simple, where do you firmly believe Iverson WILL end up. Not necessarily where you WANT him to end up, but what does your gut tell you about where he actually will? I know it's just a prediction and it means nothing, but I want to see what you guys think.I know, I know, "not another Iverson thread." But you know what? This is a very big deal, and the NBA has been dead as far as player transactions go.Top ContendersBostonDenverMinnesotaAtlantaSacramentoLA ClippersIf you don't think it's one of those teams, which I can't see happening, who do you see landing AI? Again - gut feeling on where he will end up, not necessarily just where you want him to go.

Is Sacramento really a contender for AI? I can't see that happening, their offers would be terrible. My guess would be the Celtics, I think it's sort like of Artest/Peja from a year ago. Where they had discussions earlier that went nowhere. Only to be rekindled and a deal was a struck the next go around.

Smith mentioned them (along with Minnesota, Boston, Atlanta, and Denver) when they asked him. Apparently it has something to do with Bibby possibly opting out if they don't succeed. I really don't know what they would give though.

Minnesota Timberwolves Why ?Because my gut tell's me he's going there [IMG] naw, Garnett want's Allen on his team and sooner or later Iverson is going to want to play on the wolves. AI & Garnett are both extremely passionate players and they both want that NBA championship so imagine what they could do together, plus I think if the wolves give up the right players to lose then the Wolves would have ligetament chance at a NBA Championship this season and I have a feeling AI is going to the Wolves, you will see that I am right very soon

Whhhhattt? Dallas trading for AI? I mean hell, I'd trade Devin for AI, but I'm sure we'd have to give up a big man too. Wouldn't do that. I don't know what else we could really give... maybe Stackhouse could leave but I can't see much else.

PJ, Great point about trading him to Chicago. They need a superstar scorer right now and they definitely have the pieces to package in a deal for Iverson. Maybe throw in some young talent and that top 5-7 draft pick they have.

The possibility trades right now are Minnesota Timberwolves"The Minnesota Timberwolves, with a possible package of Ricky Davis and rookie guard Randy Foye out of Villanova, is also believed to be a factor. "Boston Celtics "The Celtics have a deep roster of young players, including forward Al Jefferson and guards Delonte West, Sebastian Telfair and Rajon Rondo, to send to Philadelphia. Also, they have the weighty veteran contract of Theo Ratliff to help balance Iverson's contract in a deal. "Dallas Mavericks, although I don't think you guys need him."Mavericks owner Mark Cuban wouldn't deny that he's engaged in trying to make a deal for Iverson"Possibly Denver Nuggets. Idk what you guys can give in return though.Quotes from the article that Rok posted. Out of these teams I would want him to be traded to either the Timberwolves or The Celtics. I like the players that we would get in a Celtics deal but I don't wanna trade AI to a division rival. I hope we get the best possible trade..
