35 pts on 17-21 shooting plus 12 boards in 26 minutes is unreal.

It's funny how people often forget that Jeremy Lin is also a Bay Area PG.

He's just from the other side of the bay when compared to the usual suspects like Dame, GP, et al.

So apparently there's bad blood from tonight's GS ass whooping in Houston. Houston is pissed because Marc Jackson ordered his team to foul and not allow Houston to continue to shoot threes when they were within reach of the record for most 3's made by a team in a game. Draymond Green also grabbed a Rocket when closing out on a three and consequently got tossed from the game when they were in each other's faces. Lots of bench shit talking during the games. The teams will play again in Oakland on Tuesday.

But now its taken to twitter. Players from both teams are making various comments, but this one by Bogut made me particularly lol:

Yeah, that's just ridiculous. They did that to the Grizz to a lesser extent earlier this year with 12 threes (43%) and went on to post 121, at a time when we were holding teams to under 90 ppg. I remember how frustrating that game was, because we played a great game, but they just kept draining hand-in-face three's.

I've always been a big fan of Dae Dae though, ever since he came to State as the even chubbier 'Dancing Bear.' I was really surprised to see him slip into the 2nd round. All of the talk was about what position he'd play, if he had NBA athleticism, etc., but at the end of the day, he's just a great basketball player that brings all of the aggressiveness, smarts, and intangibles that you want out of a role player.

This 3-5 seed race is getting ridiculously competitive. The Grizz took a bad loss to the Suns tonight. For some reason, Jermaine O'Neal always has a great game against Memphis. He's had a very average to below-average season so far, but he's had four really good games against the Grizz. I honestly think he's got something against Gasol or something, because he gets really physical and plays with a lot of energy every time we see him. It always gets chippy between Jermaine and Marc, and that usually results in a lot of petty calls against Marc and Jermaine getting angry and actually playing hard.

Yeah it was incredibly frustrating but also hard to be mad at the team. Going into half time they were shooting 52% and scored 62 points but they were down 15 lol.
I liked Draymond as a college player but didn't think he'd translate to the NBA well. The biggest shocker so far with him is that he's really made his mark as a defensive player and until the last 3 weeks or so his offense was abysmal. Hes incredibly tenacious but also just incredibly smart on defense. Saw the same thing with Ekpe Udoh. Izzo really knows how to coach em. Dray's 3 point shooting and post scoring has come around a bit too, and hes always been a great rebounder for his size/athleticism.

And its really the 3-6 seeds that are up in the air. Memphis, Denver, and GS are separated by a half game for 4, 5, and 6. The Clippers have fallen out of the tier with OKC and SA and are kind of inbetween that next tier, but they've lost 3 in a row and are 3-7 in their last 10. I believe their schedule gets difficult as well soon.

Just gotta say--I like this. A lot.

They always say that if you don't like teams running up the score on you or rubbing in a victory, stop them. Clearly it's classless of McHale to allow his team to continue bombing away when they're up 30 with 3 minutes left, whether in pursuit of a record or not. Mark Jackson took the only tactic he had available to him, and I applaud it.

NO!!!!!!!!! Poor Pau, I wish him the speediest of recoveries. No one should have to endure this. Such a tragedy.
