I'm happy we won, but is there a worse way we could have won this game? A three pointer by our center and an out-of-control shot by Barton?

And tonight, I became a Dennis Shroeder fan.

And he said twice that Meyers is good around the basket and is working on his perimeter game now.

Two bench players made big plays at the end of a "playoff" game. Shroeder looked out of control and undersized, IMO. I thought McCollum outplayed him, overall.

This x100! Beat me to it. I was going to say the exact same thing. Hickson would be a GREAT back-up big, but his flaws are exposed too much when you're forced to start him. Plus, Robinson is younger, cheaper, rebounds just as well and is already a better defender. I've always been a big fan of hard working, tough back-up power forwards. Looks like we found one who is young, eager to improve and hungry to prove he belongs In this league. Fuck Isiah ( worst GM EVER!), TRob was a great pick up. Way to go Olshey!

So by winning they get to play their 5th game in 6 nights?

That will certainly effect those who have played big minutes. Especially jump shooters.

Really disappointed in McCollum, he played very 'Lazy'.
Most of the time he'd just wait for his guy to go under the screen then jack up a shot.

Expect more from a guy of his intellect.

I'm all for Meyers working on his 3 pt shot & Robinson jacking from the top of the key... this is summer league where game results don't matter. Players should turn off their conscience and do the things they're working on without regard to the results. If either of those guys can grow to hit those shots with consistency, their value to the team & winning ball blows up

Isaiah. He said so many stupid things in this broadcast, usually backed up with that knowing low cackle as if he was letting you in on something. The one I'll highlight is late 4th Q he's critiquing Meyers. Can he be a defender? he asks. Well, he's got short arms so shot blocking & contesting shots won't be in his future, he answers his own question.

Meyers registered a 7'3 wingspan & 9'0 standing reach at the pre-draft measurements. I'm watching lanky ML run up the court as Thomas is oh-so knowingly waxing about his lack of length thinking... wha? Dude is obviously not Hakeem, but he's just as obviously not lacking in physical ability or traits. Did Isaiah think he was doing a radio broadcast?

Robinson really only took like maybe three or four jumpers anyway, which isn't that bad. They were leaving him open so he was trying to make them pay. I think he can develop that shot. I'd like to see him get out to maybe 12 to 15 feet consistently making a jumper.

Barton looked like he calmed down a ton. I think he was just excited in game one and was trying too hard.

Sometimes i think that might be what he needs; maybe he would snap out of his trance! Maybe he would realize that this is a man's game.

Lillard really made Leonard look passable last summer. I can only imagine what Robinson would look like with a point guard who can make a decent entry pass.
