I'm afraid to say that I didn't enjoy the game until the 4th. Loved that we won, but the huge number of completely unforced TOs were really depressing. Hope this doesn't happen in the next game.

I used to go to the summer league games. It was like pulling teeth watching the games because of all the turn overs. But I was living in Utah and what else do you do there in July.

    This is nothing new.

PG is definitely a concern, more so after watching these games. CJ has been great creating offense for himself but he doesn’t set up teammates like Damian did last year. Last year I had no doubt Damian would be a full time PG. Of course summer league isn’t everything but it does give you glimpses of what a player can do. Bayless was not good as a PG and CJ is somewhere between him and Damian.

I’m thinking when the season comes we might have to play CJ at SG for the bulk of his minutes. He is fine bringing the ball up the court so he could do that to help Damian when they are both in the game but play off the ball in the half court. I wouldn’t be surprised if we end up giving Watson nearly all the backup PG minutes. Maybe we see some small ball with Matthews at SF and CJ at SG.

Leonard with ZERO blocked shots in 35+ minutes against summer league talent. Bummer.

Yes, but there were multiple times that he rotated over on a Schroeder drive to force a kick-out. A lay-up prevented is just as valuable as a blocked shot.
