ABM was being facetious in the first place. ABM thought it was funny meme, despite medical applications. But, hey, it is what it is.

 

Scientifically inaccurate "funny memes" are a big reason we have so many science deniers in this country.

Allowing them to go unchallenged is no longer a responsible course of action, as unpleasant as that may be.

 

It's just that the data/recommendations seem to change regularly. It's during these times that a little humor can't hurt all that much. I mean, really.

It’s the internet. You can find something to back up any claim, true or not.

 

Getting my 2nd shot tomorrow morning.

 

I was doing some research and it said the vaccine doesn’t fully kick in for 14 days. So I guess I can’t claim being “fully vaccinated” for another 2 weeks though.

 

I've heard from the nurses who treat me regularly at the hospital that it's three weeks but I don't really know otherwise.

Its two weeks after your second shot that you're fully vaccinated.

 

I heard 4 weeks.

 

Per CDC:

When you are fully vaccinated
People are considered fully vaccinated:

• 2 weeks after their second shot in a 2-dose series, like the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines, or
• 2 weeks after a single-shot vaccine, like Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen COVID-19 Vaccine
