Not a dumb question, considering the "recruiting" going on.

    That's a trade, not a "signing".

In which case, how did you determine we acquired Henderson prior to Vonleh?

If Gerald Hendersen signs a contract..isn't that also a signing? Just not a free agent signing?

This is what I also was thinking.

Otherwise, it's going to be something completely from left field.

You declared it like it happened, thanks for playing!

Past tense: "Pretty sure it was Gerald Hendersen"

Nobody say the Hibbert move. Dunno if I can even pretend to know what Olshey is up to. Nobody saw it coming, including Woj. So, imma say anything is possible.

He didn't sign anything to be a Blazer. He was just sent here.

Is there any chance if we lock up agreements with Monroe and potentially another big free agent we just say fuck it and renounce LaMarcus?

Tim Duncan will join Tony Parker and Gregg Popovich as part of the San Antonio Spurs' contingent when they meet with Portland Trail Blazers free agent LaMarcus Aldridge on Wednesday morning in Los Angeles, a source told Yahoo Sports.

Manu Ginobili are among several free agents the Spurs have this summer. Duncan and Ginobili have yet to formally announce their plans.

Duncan assisted in the courtship of Jason Kiddwhen Kidd visited San Antonio as a free agent in 2003, but this is believed to be the first time he has traveled as part of a recruiting pitch. Parker will be flying to Los Angeles from China, where has been on a promotional tour.

The Los Angeles Lakers, Houston Rockets and the Dallas Mavericks, Toronto Raptors and Phoenix Suns are among Aldridge's suitors, but a source close to the situation said the Spurs are currently the frontrunner. Aldridge is from Dallas, but has an offseason home in Orange County, south of Los Angeles. His representation agency, Wasserman Media Group, is based in Los Angeles.

Aldridge averaged 23.4 points, 10.2 rebounds and 1.0 blocks for the Blazers last season. He has averaged at least 20 points and eight rebounds in each of the past five seasons.

San Antonio played in two straight NBA Finals, winning in 2014, before losing its first-round playoff series against the Los Angeles Clippers this past season. A frontline anchored by Aldridge, Duncan and forward Kawhi Leonard, who is expected to re-sign as a restricted free agent, would help their chances of again contending in the Western Conference.
