Let's start with some random thoughts, as there's just too much to get to all at once.
First, Ottawa's new logo. I think it's a big downgrade from the old one.
Old

New

The Islanders have to wear this atrocity.

I like this, but isn't it obvious which city this team plays in?

This is pretty sharp. This team needed a complete overhaul really bad.

And of course, the original six teams along with the Avalanche and Devils will have no changes except for the new material and design of the jersey itself. The Devils aren't even having a press conference. They are just showing up to the first game with them.
The Ducks are a complete mystery. Nobody knows. Maybe it's this?

BTW, for those that don't know, every team is getting a new jersey this year as the NHL has switched to a new, more modern RBK EDGE jersey that fits a bit tighter and is made of lighter materials.
Some teams have decided to use this opportunity to completely revamp their look, and some have just carried over the old design to the new jerseys.

The capitals logo and jerseys look much nicer than before, now if they can just start winning games..
Of all the jersey changes I like the Washington one the best, I just cant wait until they unveil the new Maple Leafs jersey.
I also like the new Blue Jackets unis and logo. Very clean looking.

Here's the old logo. It was cheesy looking, IMO.

The Wild also got a new look. These were just unveiled today. I like that they are simple and dig the new home design.

Much nicer.

(BTW, congratulations on being the only person to ever see the Blue Jackets play!)

Wish the Avalanche would get something different. But watch if they did, then it'd probably be something I didn't like haha.
Oh Ottawa used both those2 logos. One was thehome jersey, the other is on the away.Just the 2nd one is updated version of the home one. Guess they're using the 2nd one for both now. I liked either actually.

The Old Ottawa one looks alot sharper in my opinion, I have seen Spezza skate around with the new jersey and I thought he was wearing some practise jersey because it didnt look nice at all. Anyways im really excited to see the other uniforms unveiled but I bet teams like Toronto, Boston, Detriot, Chicago, NY, Montreal and some other older teams will stick with their original designes with a couple of tweaks in them. Also for anyone interested I believe the jerseys will be available in stores Sept 21st, my manager told me that is the launch date according to RBK.

They should never have gotten rid of it.

I just got back from work and we already recieved the new RBK jerseys (cant sell yet) for a couple of teams and I was lucky enough to see the new Maple Leafs jersey for the first time...its pretty basic, they stripped the TML off the shoulders, the two white stripes usually on the forearms of the jersey is higher up near the elbow and there are no stripes near the bottom of the jersey...its pretty basic but I like it that way. Other jerseys we recieved were Montreal, Ottawa, Detriot, Calgary, Buffalo and Pittsburgh. Also if anyone is interested the jerseys retail for $139.99 Canadain
New Leafs uniform today, this is what it is said to look like:
I hope not because that looks like more like a pajama top than a uniform
