Well, he got his way. The results weren't good. So let him have his way more? Doesn't make sense. In other things where he's had his way, we're at war in 5+ countries now, and over $12T more in debt. We're also closer to war with Russia than any time since the USSR broke up. The health care system needs to be about health care delivery and not insurance of any kind, except for catastrophic needs. If the patient has to pay, he'll shop around. Or buy insurance. A government option should look like the VA. A bunch of government owned hospitals, hiring government employed doctors, using government paid for machines, delivering government paid for medications, and for a fee. Compete with the private hospitals.
Yes it is. Good job! Logic over came feeling. Millions of Americans had employer based healthcare (over 60% of the population). That is working people and retirees. Millions now do not, especially retirees thanks to Obamacare. That was not absurd, it was damn close to criminal interference. We can not address the problem because Congress (all Democrats) passed the bill authorizing the action. Trump may repeal the bill, but he cannot undue the harm.
I wonder if Drunk History will still exist in about 10-15 years. Hopefully they do an episode on this election!
