We like Dom Perignon better than Crystal even though it's cheaper. Mine and my wife's champagne must be ice cold, though. Also, we drink ours out of a champagne flute which is somewhat similar to a proper beer glass.
The best bottle of Dom Perignon we ever had? Probably when we celebrated my new job at Boeing after leaving Emerson Electric in Ferguson near St. Louis in 1985. That was our first bottle. Drink that and you'll know what piss the cheaper sparkling white wines taste like.

We've got a bottle reserved for New Years. Also gave a bottle to my wife's doctor. Gonna give another bottle to my investment advisor. He made 11% for us last year, with my wife's investments in Conservative and my and our joint investments in Moderately Conservative accounts. I made money at a higher clip than my wife. I think making 11% after expenses rates him a nice bottle of Dom Perignon.

You know what I suddenly realized that we need? A champagne bucket.

    There's a Pewter Dom P bucket available.

I broke out a bottle of Dom P for my brother's best man toast.

    Fascinating! Great photograph, thank you!

The aquaducts are a fascinating story of how a nation of power was able to turn enemies into allies through the use of advanced technology. Surely its nicer to wash the blood off rather than get gouged to death?
