Thanks, dusted off my early 1940s kodak cine ektar 25mm 1.4 at f=4, and applied a grainy film filter to it as it seemed to match the rendering. It's a pain to shoot with the old lens at time, but you get a couple of special shots every once in a while.
Seriously tho, there is something special about the old lens rendering. They are not technically good, but they are interesting.
I love that look and feel bad when I filter a picture a bunch to make it look like that. But until I get a real camera, it's the only way I can do it.
Like I took this one @andalusian, in Brooklyn a couple summers ago. It had a real gritty vibe, but the camera on my iPhone took too clean of a shot! Ran some filters over it and, here ya go!
At the winery today, after a heavy mid-afternoon deluge..... Had to shrink and lessen the quality to get this into S2 (story of my life, FAMS!).....
