Did anyone else noticed how excitable he was at the Atlanta game? Everytime something happened you'd see him jumping up and down or doing his seizure dance lol. Some friends and I were commenting on that can't be good for his heart.
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">He's only been in the league for a minute, but Ronny Turiaf is already one of the most entertaining "celebration" guys to watch since Mateen Cleaves was in his prime. And Ronny had plenty to celebrate in L.A.'s dismantling of the Kings. Whenever the Lakers did anything good, we couldn't help but check for Ronny's reaction. </div> Source He's already making headlines. You gotta love it.
I'm lovin this guy! He's already my second favorite Laker on the team, right behind well...you know. Seriously, that celtic game the other night was painful to watch and the only reason I didn't throw my fist into the TV was Ronnie. Seriously, he's as entertaining to watch on the bench as he is on the floor. He had like 10 points tonight making all 4 of his shots and 4 rebounds in 15 minutes. I really hope Phil and the coaching staff have this guy starting within a month once his enurance goes up.
Ronny is the man. Hes full of energy. I knew he was a great addition to the team. They need his positive spirit. Thank goodness we were fortunate to sign him.
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">And Turiaf said to expect more out of Brown. "I am trying to push him during practice and before the games," the rookie said. "We have our whole new routine going now. Kwame has a little confidence coming back up, so I think it is going to be scary to guard him because when he has confidence, he is pretty unstoppable." </div> You have to love the intiative Turiaf is taking on this team. He's another Mark Madsen for us .. but with skill.
When he would've entered the league, he would've been 22, but he had his heart surgery that derailed him. Rookies can be pretty much any age, but yes.. they're usually between 20-22.
Ronny is the man, I watched him against orlando and he's a pass first guy, I saw him go to the rack and dish it a lot of times when he could've scored, and with all that passing he had his best NBA game so far, I think that Ronny can be a good player in the league 4 or 5 years down the road I think he'll be starting and putting up good numbers like 15/10/3 a game.
