IMO they should eliminate mandatory guaranteed contracts and if a player is cut he becomes a FA and not count against the cap.

At what point does the League just cancel the season? January? The All-Star Break? I don't think we're going to see a season next year.
I'm sure this will come up in the meetings......... http://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/213099/NBAs_Estimated_Loss_Declines_For_Third_Straight_Season
Did you not see that Phil Jackson was fined $75,000 and the Lakers another $25,000 for talking about the potential work stoppage? You could be next. Just sayin!
Should I buy 2K11 now, or buy 2K12 when/if it comes out? I figure I'll be playing one or the other next season instead of watching games!
Hard to say, since the specific facts of the case will be somewhat different. I don't think the ruling was that lockouts are always illegal. But if current judicial sentiment is that lockouts are inappropriate use of the anti-trust powers granted to leagues, then it may well help the NBA.
This Coon thinks a lockout is a sure thing! http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/playoffs/2011/columns/story?columnist=coon_larry&page=lockout-110504
