    Players planning a "world" tour. Earning up to 1 million to play. LOL this will sit so well with other union members trying to figure out how to keep their homes and such. Outstanding solidarity, guys.


    If I am Stern, and I am asked about this by the media, this is my response

    "I think it's fantastic that some of the union's players have the opportunity to earn some money while these negotiations are on going. It's my hope, as a fan of the NBA, that none of them suffer any severe injuries that would cause them to miss any more time than they already are, as well as jeopardize their guaranteed salary once we come to an agreement."

    The longer the mediation continues, the more entrenched in their positions both parties tend to become.

    At this point, it's probably time for both side to pull back from the table for a month and see who can bleed the most without making concessions.
