I'm not sure why you feel like such a victim here. I've given him much more shit in this thread than I've given you. Doesn't sound like a double standard to me. In fact, I gave you some solid advice on how to deal with these issues in the future.

I don't feel like a victim I just feel like people aren't truly calling it how it is. I am just talking, I am not reacting. I don't care. Yeah it's a joke alright, I was simply pointing out something. I know how to deal with these issues, just not used to people like this who just talk shit and expect you to believe it's a joke. Usually the people I interact with are closer to you or know you to some extent before giving you shit and when they do, it sounds like a joke. It doesn't sound like a real insult. That was my whole point. You can't continue to tell people who don't know this dude that "hey man it's just a joke, he is joking". If you guys gotta say it for him, that means he is doing a terrible job of making it a joke. I am all for jokes, trust me but when the shit isn't funny, that's when it gets annoying. People try too hard. On the internet people talk. That was my first assumption of this dude. The joke I put out was very fucking poor but it was straight in your face as a joke. "Hey yeah I am mr fairweather". Dumb joke. Not funny but I made it obvious it was a joke. I don't see how this is hard to understand

Your constant, repeated rehashing of him calling you a fair weather fan just calls further attention to the fact that he called you a fair weather fan. Not sure why you'd want that. He's let it go and moved on. Maybe you should too.
