Glen deserves credit for building a competitive team, the Rangers have had great playoff runs with two diametrically opposite coaching philosophies but they still have come up short. I liked the Yandle deal but the reality of the situation is he's gone next year - Staal's not going anywhere with the NTC so the Rangers might as well try to recoup some of what they gave up. Yandle leads the team in assists and I realize he's an UFA next year, that's why I feel they could make a strong deal by pairing him with an RFA. While a Yandle trade is purely a business decision the guy I'd love to see them move is Nash, terrible postseason numbers and a fat contract, probably harder to move than Staal but one could dare to dream on a message board.
