Red was old school vaudeville like Bob Hope and Milton Berle....my father loved his Hobo character having grown up in the great depression...I think he was the first comedian I actually saw cry on TV.....he'd well up at the end of the show with what always seemed like such genuine gratitude

Actually she did...she got about 2.9 million more votes and won the popular vote. And, before you start whining about most of that being from California...it doesn't matter...more Americans voted for Clinton them Trump

Did you ever look at ObamaCare? It is the worst insurance I've ever seen. Ok, medicare is worse.

    But at least it's insurance.

The deductibles are so high that people are forced to pay for the insurance but can't afford to go to the doctor or clinic.

Whoever wrote this, Einstein they ain't.

Actually, she didn't get a majority of the vote.

And not a majority of the electoral votes by a lot.

Ok 48% isn't really a majority, but she got a good deal more votes then Trump who also did not get a majority...Trump didn't win by a "landslide" either as he puts it. FDR, Reagan...those were landslides

She received more votes than any other candidate, not that it matters all that much.

No, it wasn't a landslide. It was a very big and unexpected win.

    Bigger than this one:

Right, it doesn't matter much. What matters is getting more votes than any candidate in enough states to win. She knew the rules, had the best (LOL) people money could buy/hire, and virtually unlimited money.

I hope they don't end up sharing more in common, i.e. dropping multiple nuclear bombs

Clinton was expected to get 370 or even over 400 electoral votes.

Of course his 300+ votes is huge. Exceeded expectations by maybe 200 or more.

    Me, too.

    But I don't even think it's a remote possibility.

I don't see it as huge. He won by three states that are usually blue, which he barely won, by duping them into turning red.

Hopefully by the next election there will be no electoral college, or it will be changed so that the candidate who wins the popular vote wins the state, instead of this archaic crap of a system.
