Hope this is true and we stay with the red and black…. Wasn’t looking forward to having to buy some teal or orange swag!

This offseason over 100 of the 144 players in the WNBA will be free agents! We will have to have a place to talk about Sabrina coming back to Oregon FAMS!

California Bay Area soccer team called Earthquakes. Never heard complaints.

Well, if you ask around, the city has been a Dumpster Fire (or on fire if you ask a certain idiot)...so they could lean into that.

They hate us cuz they aint us. Our protest game is so strong, the French recognize it. Fire is good.

It's a good question but the Chicago Fire have been around since 1997 and they didn't seem to have a problem with the Portland Fire when it was last used. Or possibly there was nothing that they could say beings it's a different league.

If Sabrina does decide to leave NY, a big if, the Valkyries will also make a strong case. Bay Area is where she grew up.

At least Earthquakes is relevant to the Bay Area. Fire has zero to do with Portland.

Portland is definitely impacted by it's share of fire, even today.

Not to mention the Trail Blazers implies a relationship with fire (blazing trails). It could also relate to our history of Pioneers, including Lewis and Clark and the Oregon Trail who were also trail blazers, who relied heavily on fire.

    I like it.

Fire is because of Blazers. It’s dumb. Fire itself is a fine name, but since they paired it originally with Blazers, it’s stupid
