You would think the ducks have enough talent and size to at least play a competitive game.
Not sold on this Lanning dude. Looks like ha doesn’t have a clue. His team was completely unprepared and there simply is no excuse for that kind of performance.

Agreed. Ducks are too talented to get beaten that bad by anybody.

Didn’t expect a win. But to be completely humiliated is a bad way to start a season.

if it wasn't for 55 or 56 plays, the Ducks had a shot at winning

Lanning reminds me of Willie Taggert.

Erase that game from the memory and move on. Honestly I wouldn’t even show film. Nothing worth dissecting. Let the players know you love them and believe in the direction and move on.

    They just weren’t ready.

Willie Taggar reminds me of Harry Anderson. Isn’t he at Utah St now?

They looked completely outmatched size and strength wise to me.

They sure looked it but fact is they were every bit as big and they have plenty 3-4 star recruits. They were out classed on the sidelines and just plain unprepared.

Last 3 Oregon season-opening losses ended up in Pac Conference Championships and Rose Bowl appearances (2009, 2011, 2019).
