    This play was awwwwesome...

Oregon State produced its first explosive passing play of the day when Gevani McCoy launched a deep pass to David Wells Jr., who made a spectacular running catch for a 55-yard touchdown.

based on what? the Idaho State defense?

guess which team was last in the Big Sky Conference last year in scoring defense....if you guessed Idaho State, you're right. They were next to last in rushing defense (last in rushing offense). They were last in total defense (giving up 477yds/game); next to last in passing defense; and next to last in defensive efficiency (by only 0.4 over last place team)

Oregon gave up 47 rushing yards yesterday and 23 of those yards came on a trick play. Oregon has a better front-7 this season than last season; meanwhile OSU had a better OLine last season. And they had Martinez and Fenwick at RB. And Oregon held OSU's smashmouth running offense to 53 yards last year.

who knows....maybe the two opening games are predictive. They usually aren't though. The Duck rushing D will be weaker if Bassa can't play but the Ducks have much better depth than last season. Oregon didn't look great yesterday, certainly, but that was because of their OLine, not their front-7

Odd take considering the defense played very well and held Idahos running game completely in check.

Or do you think you’ll be running against our O Line?
