No. 22 Washington shuts down South Dakota 75-55

Things are about to get serious for the No. 22 Washington. Coach Mike Hopkins isn't sure his Huskies are ready.

Washington beat South Dakota 77-55 on Monday night in what was ultimately a fairly easy game.

No. 20 Colorado tops Loyola-Marymount 76-64 to stay unbeaten

Colorado found out what it's like to get someone's best shot. Now the Buffaloes are ready to take theirs against a storied program.

D'Shawn Schwartz had a season-high 16 points, including a tiebreaking 3-pointer late, and No. 20 Colorado withstood another upset scare Wednesday night in a 76-64 win over Loyola Marymount.

Green leads No. 22 Washington past Eastern Washington 90-80

Quade Green had no problem when Washington coach Mike Hopkins suggested his first-string point guard come off the bench for one night just to give the opponent a little different look.

Whether starting or not, Green has quickly become a critical component to the Huskies' success.

Green had 20 points and eight assists, Jaden McDaniels added 17 points before fouling out and No. 22 Washington beat Eastern Washington 90-80 on Wednesday.

No. 13 Ducks stop a 2-game slide with 89-64 win over Hawaii

Guard Will Richardson had a simple explanation for the difference between halves in No. 13 Oregon's victory over Hawaii.

“Just the energy,” he said, “and picking up the intensity on defense."

Payton Pritchard had 20 points and a season-high 11 assists, and the Ducks snapped a two-game losing streak with an 89-64 victory over the Rainbow Warriors on Saturday.

    No. 15 Arizona routs Nebraska-Omaha 99-49

Arizona whipped crisp passes around McKale Center, threw lobs for dunks, dropped in 3-pointers. The Wildcats buzzed on defense, jumping into passing lanes, flying in to block and alter shots.

As bounce-back games go, this was just what Arizona needed heading into a massive nonconference game this weekend.

Josh Green and Chase Jeter had 15 points each, helping No. 15 Arizona bounce back from its first loss of the season with a 99-49 rout over Nebraska-Omaha on Wednesday night.

No. 10 Oregon outlasts No. 5 Michigan 71-70 in OT

    - In a stellar matchup of senior point guards, Payton Pritchard prevailed in the end.

Pritchard scored 19 of his 23 points after halftime, and No. 10 Oregon outlasted No. 5 Michigan 71-70 in overtime Saturday. With the game on the line, Pritchard repeatedly drove past Michigan's Zavier Simpson, and although Simpson had eight points and 11 assists, the Wolverines lost their second straight game.

No. 22 Washington pulls away late to beat Seattle 81-59

Barely a month into his college career, Isaiah Stewart has already become the focus of every Washington opponent.

And it seems no matter what defense is used to try and slow the bruising freshman, it isn't having much success.

"We've got to feed him when he's open," Huskies guard Quade Green said. "You see what happens."

Stewart dominated inside again while scoring a season-high 27 points, Green added 20 and No. 22 Washington pulled away late for an 81-59 win over crosstown rival Seattle on Tuesday night.

No. 8 Oregon routs Montana 81-48 as 6-11 Dante makes debut

Oregon suddenly looks bigger, and potentially even stronger.

The eighth-ranked Ducks made a significant addition to their lineup Wednesday night as 6-foot-11 N'Faly Dante played his first college game and scored 11 points during an 81-48 win over Montana.

Utah holds on to down No. 6 Kentucky

Timmy Allen has dedicated every game he has played to his mother since she died of cancer in 2016.

He gave her something special Wednesday night -- at a contest benefiting Coaches vs. Cancer, no less.

Allen hit a tiebreaking floater with 1:14 left to help Utah dodge a rousing comeback try by No. 6 Kentucky for a 69-66 upset. The Utes' sophomore, who has a tattoo on his arm and messages written on his shoe memorializing his mother, Elise, said his mind went straight to her.
