USC's Osa Masina Charged with Rape, Forcible Sodomy

USC linebacker Osa Masina has been charged with 1 count of rape in Utah ... stemming from an alleged incident back in July ... this according to the Cottonwood Heights PD.

TMZ Sports broke the story ... a 19-year-old woman claims she was boozing and using marijuana with Masina in Utah on July 25th and passed out ... only to awake with the linebacker on top of her engaging in anal sex.

According to the charging documents, obtained by TMZ Sports, the woman claims Masina passed out again ... and woke up to Masina "thrusting his erect penis into her mouth."

The woman claims the forced oral sex was so violent, he damaged porcelain crowns on her back teeth.

The woman says she woke up the next morning in pain and went to police, and a rape kit was administered.

Now, officials have hit Masina with 3 felonies -- 1 count of rape and 2 counts of forcible sodomy.

An arrest warrant has been issued and bail has been set at $250,000 -- officials believe he's a possible flight risk.

Browning throws 4 TDs; No. 8 Washington rolls to easy win

The unsatisfying appetizers for No. 8 Washington are done. Proving the Huskies are worthy of their lofty ranking three weeks into the season now begins.

"We'll find out quick. We'll find out quick what we have," Washington coach Chris Petersen said.

Jake Browning threw three touchdown passes in the first 16 minutes and No. 8 Washington closed out its uninspired nonconference schedule with a 41-3 win over Portland State on Saturday night.

McCaffrey and No. 7 Stanford methodically mash USC 27-10

This was typical Stanford. A heavy dose of methodical mashing, a bit of everything from Christian McCaffrey and a couple little wrinkles that caught Southern California totally off guard.

McCaffrey slipped out of the backfield for a 56-yard touchdown reception and dived over the pile for a 1-yard score as the seventh-ranked Cardinal beat USC 27-10 on Saturday night.

Williams leads No. 24 Utah to 31-27 rally over USC

Troy Williams grew up 15 miles from Southern California's campus but said he wasn't recruited by the Trojans despite being ranked the No. 1 dual-threat quarterback in the country by Rivals. On Friday night, the Utah quarterback showed the storied program what it missed.

Williams threw for 270 yards and two touchdowns and ran for another score in No. 24 Utah's 31-27 comeback victory over USC.

No. 7 Stanford rallies past UCLA 22-13

UCLA contained Christian McCaffrey, kept Stanford's offense out of the end zone and generated just enough points to lead the Pac-12 champions until the Cardinal's final drive.

And then everything reverted to usual form in this one-sided California rivalry.

J.J. Arcega-Whiteside caught an 8-yard touchdown pass from Ryan Burns with 24 seconds to play, and No. 7 Stanford rallied for its ninth consecutive victory over the Bruins, 22-13 on Saturday night.

No. 9 Washington beats Arizona 35-28 in overtime

Washington survived its first real test after rolling through an easy nonconference schedule.

To keep their run going, the Huskies know they'll have to play better than this.

Jake Browning hit Dante Pettis on a 4-yard touchdown in overtime and No. 9 Washington overcame a slew of missed opportunities to hold off Arizona 35-28 Saturday night in both teams' Pac-12 opener.

Purple Haze: No. 10 Washington rolls No. 7 Stanford 44-6

Washington stayed quiet. Stanford was just the next opponent, the Huskies said, and there was no extra meaning or motivation.

Then the celebration happened, complete with purple-clad fans rushing the field to celebrate Washington's 44-6 rout Friday night.

California uses goal-line stand to beat No. 18 Utah 28-23

With the clock running down and the game on the line, California coach Sonny Dykes trusted his much-maligned defense to deliver.

The defense responded with six stops from inside the 10 to seal the win.

James Looney stopped Zach Moss from the 1-yard line on the final play of the game to give the Golden Bears their second straight home win against a ranked opponent, 28-23 over No. 18 Utah on Saturday.

Falk's 4 TD passes lead Wash. St. past No. 15 Stanford 42-16

After opening the season with losses to lower-division Eastern Washington and Boise State, Washington State has staged a dramatic turnaround and is now overwhelming the Pac-12's recent powerhouses.

The Cougars followed a lopsided win over Oregon that was fueled by a dominant running attack with a thorough beating of No. 15 Stanford led by the play in the trenches.

Luke Falk threw for 357 yards and four touchdowns and the defensive line shut down Christian McCaffrey and the Cardinal offense in a 42-16 victory on Saturday night.

No. 24 Utah rallies for 36-23 win over Arizona

Utah's eighth false start penalty of the first half brought out boos from its homecoming crowd. Luckily for the Utes, a second-half rally was enough to avoid spoiling the occasion.

Quarterback Troy Williams ran for two touchdowns and threw another, helping No. 24 Utah come back to beat Arizona 36-23 on Saturday night.

USC overcomes turnovers, finishes off No. 21 Colorado 21-17

Sam Darnold, both head coaches and everybody else in the Coliseum thought Darnold's wobbly pass was about to become Southern California's fifth turnover.

Everybody except Darreus Rogers, who simply went up and over Colorado cornerback Ahkello Witherspoon to steal it for a spectacular 46-yard gain .

"I never thought it was going to be a pick," Rogers said. "Those are the plays I need to make that will separate me as a player. I had to make that play for my teammates."

A few minutes later, the Trojans seized a victory they felt rightfully belonged to them, too.

Tyler Petite caught his second touchdown pass with 8:28 to play on a drive extended by Rogers' heroics, and USC overcame four turnovers to beat No. 21 Colorado 21-17 on Saturday.

Williams returns, and powers No. 21 past Beavers 19-14

Joe Williams got the call Monday. Would he consider coming back to the Utes?

"It was a quick yes," the running back said.

With just a week of practice, Williams came out of retirement and ran for 179 yards and a touchdown for No. 21 Utah on Saturday in a rain-soaked 19-14 victory over Oregon State.

Browning tosses 3 TDs as Washington rolls Oregon St 41-17

It stands that the real test of No. 5 Washington's validity as a playoff contender is about to begin.

The warm ups for the Huskies are done.

"As we head down the stretch here it's not always going to be like this with the teams we have coming and there is stuff to talk about and work on," Washington coach Chris Petersen said.

Jake Browning threw three touchdown passes to give him 26 for the season, added another rushing TD, and Huskies used a big first half to roll past Oregon State 41-17 on Saturday.

No. 4 Washington holds on for 31-24 win over No. 17 Utah

Mitch Wishnowsky had pushed No. 4 Washington in a back-and-forth showdown with No. 17 Utah. The Utah punter had the Huskies on their heels and on the wrong side of the field so much that Washington coach Chris Petersen laughed when he pinned his team on the 7 in the third quarter.

But then Wishnowsky outkicked his coverage, somewhat, late in the fourth quarter and gave Washington an opening.

Dante Pettis returned the punt 58 yards for a touchdown with 3:25 left and Washington held off Utah 31-24 on Saturday to remain undefeated.

No. 3 Clemson rallies for 37-34 win over No. 12 Florida St.

Dabo Swinney has mastered winning close games during his tenure at Clemson. Saturday's victory over Florida State might be the sweetest of all.

The third-ranked Tigers rallied to beat the No. 12 Seminoles 37-34 and won for the first time in 10 years at Doak Campbell Stadium.

No. 21 Colorado squeaks by UCLA 20-10 despite penalties

All those yellow flags had Colorado coach Mike MacIntyre seeing a little red.

    Understandable.

Isaiah Oliver returned a punt 68 yards for a score with 5:27 remaining and No. 21 Colorado overcame eight personal-foul penalties to beat UCLA 20-10 on Thursday night.

Browning's 6 TDs lead No. 5 Washington past California 66-27

Jake Browning and the Washington Huskies sure made a good case that they may have been snubbed in the initial College Football Playoff rankings even if they say they weren't bothered by it in the least.

Browning threw for 378 yards and six touchdowns to set Washington's single-season record for TD passes, and the fifth-ranked Huskies beat California 66-27 on Saturday night.
