With 3 late game touchdowns, No. 15 Oregon overcomes Washington State 44-41

Oregon quarterback Bo Nix was piling up the yardage, but the No. 15 Ducks were not getting into the end zone in the first half against Washington State.

That all changed with less than seven minutes left in the game, when Oregon scored three late touchdowns to come back for a 44-41 win over the Cougars on Saturday.

Thompson-Robinson leads UCLA past No. 15 Washington, 40-32

Dorian Thompson-Robinson had read and heard the comments about UCLA's unbeaten start not meaning much due to the quality of opponents it played.

On Friday night, Thompson-Robinson and the Bruins made sure to make a statement with their first victory over a top-15 team since 2014.

Thompson-Robinson passed for 315 yards and three touchdowns in UCLA's 40-32 victory over No. 15 Washington in a matchup of unbeaten Pac-12 teams at the Rose Bowl.

Nix has 4 TDs and No. 13 Oregon downs Stanford 45-27

When Oregon quarterback Bo Nix took off running in the third quarter, teammate Chase Cota was cheering for him to keep going.

Nix indeed kept going, and going - all the way for an 80-yard touchdown.

''I remember when I saw him get out and he was like 40 yards down the field, I'm like `Please don't slide, you got the touchdown!''' Cota said. ''Sure enough, he made it.''

Nix threw for two touchdowns and ran for two more - including that 80-yarder - and No. 13 Oregon won its fourth straight game with a 45-27 victory over Stanford on Saturday night.

Caleb Williams runs, passes No. 6 USC past Arizona St. 42-25

Although Caleb Williams and No. 6 Southern California never trailed against Arizona State, the Trojans also couldn't pull away during a fairly average first half by their newly ambitious standards under coach Lincoln Riley.

''It just wasn't quite us,'' Riley said. ''Wasn't quite the edge that we're used to playing with, and that we expect to play with.''

Williams and the Trojans found their edge in the second half, and they used it to slice straight through the Sun Devils on the way to another big win.

Williams passed for 348 yards and three touchdowns and rushed for another score, keeping USC unbeaten in Riley's first season with a 42-25 victory Saturday night.

Bourguet leads Arizona State past No. 21 Washington, 45-38

Trenton Bourguet was a fifth-string walk-on four years ago and spent the spring in a walking boot when he wasn't practicing.

The Arizona State quarterback prepared as if he was going to be the starter no matter where he was on the depth chart or how bad his foot hurt - a mentality that paid off in a huge way for the Sun Devils.

Called into action after Emory Jones was injured, Bourguet threw for three touchdowns and orchestrated Arizona State's offense to near perfection in a 45-38 victory over No. 21 Washington on Saturday that gave interim coach Shaun Aguano his first victory.

No. 6 USC defense clamps down, beats Washington State 30-14

Caleb Williams and the Southern California offense usually carried the Trojans to victory in their first five weeks under Lincoln Riley.

Against high-scoring Washington State, the Trojans' defense showed it can step forward to meet the same standard that's kept USC unbeaten halfway through the regular season.

Caleb Williams threw two touchdown passes to Mario Williams, and No. 6 USC shut out the Cougars in the second half in a 30-14 victory Saturday night.

Nix, No. 12 Oregon roll up offense in 49-22 win over Arizona

Noah Whittington surveyed the field while running to his right, making a quick cut to evade a tackle before sprinting up the field.

Then the Oregon running back reached a speed no one else on the field could match, bursting past a half-dozen Arizona defensive players on the way to the end zone. It was the first rushing touchdown of the game for the Ducks.

There would be many, many others before the night was through.

Bo Nix threw for 265 yards and ran for three touchdowns, Whittington added the superb 55-yard touchdown run and No. 12 Oregon rolled to a 49-22 victory over Arizona on Saturday.

Rising scores on 2-pointer, No. 20 Utah tops No. 7 USC 43-42

Time was dwindling but the decision had already been made as Cameron Rising drove Utah down the field against previously unbeaten Southern California.

''We were going to keep the ball in Cam's hands,'' Utes coach Kyle Whittingham said. ''And if we score and time is close to expiring, we were going for 2, no question.''

Rising threw for 415 yards, ran for three touchdowns and scampered up the middle for a go-ahead two-point conversion with 48 seconds left in No. 20 Utah's 43-42 victory over the seventh-ranked Trojans on Saturday night.

Caleb Williams propels No. 5 USC past Notre Dame 38-27

After Caleb Williams perfectly faked a handoff and sprinted up the middle for the first of his three rushing touchdowns against Notre Dame, he went to the Southern California sideline and extended a stiff-arm with his body coiled in a familiar way.

Williams' teammates had been demanding a Heisman Trophy pose from him, and USC's spectacular quarterback is nothing if not a team player.

"They kept saying it, so I just ended up doing it in the moment," Williams said with a smile and a shrug.

Williams and the Trojans had plenty to celebrate after a skid-snapping rivalry victory over the Fighting Irish kept them in play for even bigger honors — and made Williams the probable frontrunner to collect the real trophy next month.

Willams polished his Heisman credentials with 232 yards passing and four total touchdowns, and No. 5 USC capped its outstanding regular season under new coach Lincoln Riley by staying firmly in the College Football Playoff race with a 38-27 victory over No. 13 Notre Dame on Saturday night.

No. 14 Utah beats CU 63-21, gets spot in Pac-12 title game

The loudest roar from the Utah fans came at the end of a blowout of Colorado at Folsom Field and had nothing to do with what was happening on the field.

It followed the scoreboard flashing Oregon State knocking off Oregon. A big hurdle cleared.

In the end, all the variables Utah needed to have happen in order to get a spot in the Pac-12 championship game fell perfectly in line. That included the final one long after leaving the stadium.

Cameron Rising threw three touchdown passes Saturday before taking a seat for the second half, Ja'Quinden Jackson ran for three scores and No. 14 Utah routed Colorado 63-21 on a night that culminated with the Utes securing the last spot into the conference title game.
