And he would absolutely shatter what's left of Meyers confidence when he throws a towel in his face!

Yeh, I didn't get any indication from the interview that would make me think he is not still searching for a really good player to add.

    Scalma, no to both.

As a Blazer fan, I see that in the face of negative comments it is appropriate to defend this Blazer and look for ways to improve results. As a Blazer fan, don't you recognize the value of finding and cheering all accomplishments as important? While you have your opinion that contrasts with mine, why can't we find ways to encourage every Blazer and enhance winning?

I've defended/stayed patient with Meyers more than say, the average, more realistic fan might have, and I do see his value when he's at his "best" but it's been 5 years with little to no development and at this point, I'm past encouragment, and just want the experiment to end. It's literally in everyone's best interest.

This is me too. I was defending him to out-of-line insults all of last year, and I'm just done with the dude. 4-year projects are frowned upon. He's a 5-year project that has gotten worse.

No--it's important that swish3's posts are easily identifiable without even looking to the left. That font is wonderful.

Thanks! Although it was quite discouraging to read. Fuck Turner. Fuck Stotts. I'm not at all excited about him trading picks for players - in his entire tenure as Blazers GM the only really, truly great player he targeted in a trade (or Free Agency for that matter!) was Nurkic. Everyone else was mediocre or sucky.

And the trade for Nurk he said was more about the pick. Lucked into that one.

Professional basketball players cannot simply rely on the fans to pat them on the back and tell them good job in order to stoke said players confidence. A player must believe in himself, must have confidence in himself, in order to develop, to succeed. Players who have that built in like Lillard are the ones who succeed. Meyers is fragile and unsure of himself, he is his own enemy. Players like him don't survive in the NBA.

IMO, Meyers is a sensitive guy who really wants to proudly represent the Blazers, tries hard, and has at times been excellent. He and all of the Blazers should be given encouragement from the fans, as they will have greater success hearing cheers rather than with boos. What Blazer fans can do is to be constructive to increase chances for success. Negative pronouncements in your last 2 sentences do not help.

If a player constantly needs to be propped up by fans, he'll never succeed. Blazer fans have supported the dude until this year, and it's not enough. He's admitted he struggles mentally. Blazer fans can't fix that, and I don't think he can either. It is what it is. His mentality has gone down the drain, and Blazer fans can't save his own mentality for him. At this point, he's a lost cause, and needs a fresh start somewhere else.

So, I have decided to become a gimmick poster. I have some ideas I thought about but can't decide which one to pick, would you mind giving your opinion ?

    1. Bring back McMillan
    2. Aminu should get more time handling the ball
    3. Pat should get all the backup minutes at the 1 & the 2

Also which font should I use ? I was thinking about this one

Rasheed Wallace working with white bread Meyers Leonard? That would be the most shocking thing I've ever seen. And that's all I'm going to say about that.
