Ya, that was pretty bush league. Totally meant to provoke. Honestly a little disappointed in Sly for that one. Oh well
As much as I salivate over this draft, Lamarcus is going nowhere. I've had multiple friends tell me they would give up being Blazer fans if this happened. This isn't the Indy Colts. I don't see Andrew Luck around the corner or even Geno Smith.
If you really want to get technical and since we're so bent up on keeping everyone around the same age limit, Andrew Wiggins might be a better fit for our core players.
It is rather hilarious that each of you can point out when you think I'm trolling but none of you seem to understand or admit when you do it. Oh well. MM, if you consider my original post to be trolling then I am truly sorry and apologize.
Sly trolled this thread to death. It had been a good, serious argument about Aldridge. Aldridge needs to go. Really, guys, you'll agree after it happens. Just like when I used to say Pritchard needed to go, which was beyond the imagination of the status-quoers. They would go nuts whenever I said it.
100% agree. The team efficiency will improve, as a whole, as a result of not forcing it through Aldridge and his low percentage jumpers. Defense will improve with someone who will actually guard above shoulder height, and most likely the team culture will improve with the reigns officially given to the hard working Lillard. Can't believe people want to give this guy 100 million plus. Take whatever high first round picks you can get for him. This will be a classic addition by subtraction move, improving the TEAM play.
Of course it does. It doesn't have the corresponding talent, plugged in, that we'd receive back if we moved him. There's no denying Aldridge is a talented player, I'm just advocating a change to a different style of talent, not a reduction in talent.
How would we not get a reduction in talent? There is no FA we can grab that will come close to doing what LA does for us, and whatever lottery pick we got there is no guarantee they will be great. If Jabari Parker has the career LA has he will be considered to have had a career worthy of a top 3 pick. Sent from my SM-G900P using Tapatalk
Indeed, but Parker would be coming into his prime around the same time as Lillard. That would be the point. Aldridge is right now in his prime and will only start to diminish as he gets older.
We also lost when Mo Williams was out. The coach designs a system in preseason around the players he has. The system is temporarily disrupted when any rotation players are absent.
Ya, the original one was. I know my stuff gets edited for that. I also know when I went on and on about the guarantee I was told by you to stop, and told you I knew what I was doing, yet you did the same thing with the so and so >>>>>>>>>>> so and so bit. Just odd coming from you.
Sly you're the commissioner, you get the power to enforce the rules but it also means you're supposed to make sure that you're also not breaking them.
