I watched a game to a night where a guy had a a quintuple double, he was a 6'8" guy from the states, he had, 31 points, 38 rebounds ( Guy was a beast on the boards ) I think it was around 11 assists, can't remember the exact numbers for the other stats, but he definitely had a quintuple doube...He was obviously american, and I'm not sure if it was him, but I think it said he did a year at Georgetown. He had 2 sick dunks, and this 5'5" guy dunked in the game too, he was amazing, he was really angry and ready to kil....Typically Irish
Yao was about to have a quadruple double last night, he had like 4 blocks in the first quarter, with his obvious points and rebounds, plus I think he had like 3 assists in the first quarter also, he just couldnt keep that up throughout the whole game
Guys who could get it in the next 10 years:Andrei KirelinkoKevin DurantLebron JamesShawn MarionChase BudingerJosh McRobertsAndrew BogutGerald WallaceKevin GarnettTim DuncanJosh HowardJosh SmithKevin LoveBrandan WrightChances are some of these guys might never get a triple-double...but they might do it

kobe and ak47 are the front runners right now but I dont think it would happen. kobe is really the only one I could imagine doing it, just going bonkers one night and putting it all together. We all know he can score but I know he could get 10 stls 10 blks if he had a terrific game. The hardest part for him would be the rebs if you ask me.

Turnovers do NOT count, They never have and they never will. I can't believe so many NBA fans would think otherwise.

His career high for blocks in a game is 5, and steals is 7. It's definitely hard to envision someone doing this because of the amount of time on the floor in one game it would take. That being said, Gerald Wallace, AK47 and Josh Smith are the only ones I can see doing it because they are great shot blockers. Kirilenko is the only one whos career best games almost all add up to be close to doing it (18 boards, 11 assists, 10 blocks, 8 steals). These guys can do it because they're quick to jump on passes to steal them, and are quick jumpers and can block shots. But I think the Quintuple Double will never happen again. There are too many tall and athletic players in the NBA for this to happen, and there is no one player that is that dominant. I mean those guys I listed, while they're no scrubs, but they don't dominate and aren't even the best players on their team. We won't be seeing one of these again.
