Pelicans (vs Celtics) and Thunder (@ Toronto) both had HUGE wins today. Those were games they were projected to lose and tough wins that others in the race now have to duplicate to keep pace.
These projections don't really mean anything, dude. Isn't Denver supposed to be on a 9 game win streak?
If I said the sun was out you'd find some way to disagree. Raptors were favored in that game so 'favored/projected' to win. Boston was 'favored' earlier when I wrote the original up as well. Damn, do you just sit in your basement and try to find things to nitpick? I guess it that is what makes you happy. #Stale
The Sun is not out and I still don't think projections mean anything whatsoever so they're pointless to talk about. That's my opinion. Nothing against you. I would say the same thing to other posters.
No. We aren't "supposed to win" the next 2 games. We are GOING to win. There's no supposed to about it. We'll go EARN it.
Top 5 can stay as it is. I don't want to play Thunder (because they can take off in the playoffs when it matters most) or Jazz (because of the form they have been in for the last two months and their defense) and we avoid them in the current playoff picture. I think Jazz will overtake Thunder though, their schedule is really favourable and they should easily win the next two and most of the final 10. We will probably stay third. I hope Nuggets can climb to 6th but they probably won't.
Not that it means anything, but after their upset win in LA, I now have the Blazers "projected" to finish with 50 wins, projecting 6 losses the rest of the way (2 to HOU, @NOP, @HOU, @SAS, @DEN). Probably should project a win over the Nuggets the way they've been playing, but Blazers have always had difficulty playing at elevation in Denver, even when the Nugs were terrible.
If we finish 6-6, I’d be surprised. That would be a horrific end to the season and would signify a lot about what is going to occur in the playoffs if so.
