Man I would much rather play the Pels.... whatever it takes. In fact I'd rather play New Orleans WITHOUT the HCA than the Spurs WITH.

I hope you're right. I don't think we can. Even with Mo.

I don't know man. The reason we were so focused during 13 game win streak was because we knew the last couple weeks of the season were going to be difficult. We needed the cushion. It would've been nice to lock it up earlier but even if we lose to Jazz tomorrow (I don't think we will), HCA isn't an issue. The only way we don't get HCA is if Spurs and Grizzlies win and we lose. Extremely unlikely.

I am very cool with it staying just like this. What has to happen for this to happen, because I will root for this.

Utah Jazz at Portland Trail Blazers | 10:30 p.m. (ESPN)
    • BPI favorite: Blazers (58.1 percent)

    • Why it matters: The winner gets the No. 3 seed. The Blazers are probably No. 4 with a loss while the Jazz are probably No. 5. Since this is a late tip, we'll know what playoff matchups are at stake as the game goes down to the wire.
    Jazz projections

    • No. 3: 41.9 percent

    • No. 4: 8.5 percent

    • No. 5: 49.6 percent
    Blazers projections

    • No. 3: 58.1 percent

    • No. 4: 39.2 percent

    • No. 5: 2.7 percent
