Schaub was making serious money from sponsors up until the exclusive Reebok sponsorship deal kicked-in. He criticized the deal and Dana White called Schaub a liar, claiming he wasn't making as much as he said--though Schaub provided proof afterwards. It also demonstrated that White had no clue how much guys were pulling from sponsors prior to inking the deal with Reebok. Without the sponsors, Schaub says he makes less fighting than he does from his "Fighter and the Kid" podcast. Presumably he could do both but he doesn't feel incentive to fight.

The UFC told him if he ever wants to fight again that the door remains open.
