Wallace is done, the Clippers pick would be in the 20s, Young does little for me. And Wallace is still owed 10 million next year. That's an overpay.

I'd do it if we can get Olynyk without giving up much.

They play him at center and are quickly finding out that he's a PF - where Sullinger plays, whom they are building around.

I would seriously consider bringing Crash back if I were starting a 14 piece soul review band and needed the guy to do the Barry White parts

I was really bummed Wallace didn't work out here. He had been one of my favorite players to watch and he really fell off the cliff (and then was set on fire and drowned) performance-wise after heading out from PDX. If it was 5 years ago and he'd be up for backing up LMA? Sure! No way now though.

Also I liked Fez's Olynyk bait, waiting for mickzagger to show up any minute.

It's not that Wallace didn't work out it's that we had Batum and he was younger. If not Wallace then the Blazers would have traded Batum and it looks like we made the right choice here.

We traded Wallace because he (along with Felton, Camby, Crawford, and that other old scrub with a name I can never remember) quit on us because they didn't like playing for a hard-nosed coach.

    Fuck Gerald Wallace.

I see. So now you want to admit that Nate McDuffus was a good coach?

Stick a fork in Wallace. Its not like he's a great veteran presence, he relies on his hustle, but he's older now and not very productive and won't be flying through the stands. Don't see any room in the rotation for him.

The more I think about it the more I think he would fit well but I don't want to give up T-Rob in that trade. I think trading d wright would hurt chemistry. And obviously Boston isn't going to trade Wallace for Claver. So you are left with CJ and Meyers, both are no where near their NBA ceiling..it just doesn't work out in my mind.

Nate was (and is) an excellent coach, and I've always said so. If we had found someone to take Felton and Crawford off our hands at the trade deadline, I don't think he would have been fired.

Good thing he was, he may be a good coach, but he's no Terry Stotts.
