Rondo out. Bradley out of the bubble. I’m thinking Dame and CJ are licking their chops at the thought of getting an 8th seed matchup with the Lakers.

Dame scorched them when they still had them.

If a bubble works as designed, it doesn't matter what goes on outside of it.

If Rondo had surgery, that means he left the bubble. That means he should not be allowed back in the bubble for 10 days, right? He better not bring Florida COVID into the bubble!!

Exactly. Has no idea what he is talking about. The greater population of Florida isn't mingling with NBA players.

Also, re: Rondo's surgery, so much for the "there won't be hospital beds" hysteria.

I hope they are thinking only of what they need to do to get to that point; because I think it will be one hell of a struggle.

When the hospitals are full and someone gets tested positive, he and half his team may need to leave the state. Will they be allowed back?

We shall have to agree to disagree. I think Eric, you don't know what you are talking about and think this virus will shut it down.

    We can agree to disagree.

For the record, I believe I am the only person on the forum that actually lives in Orlando (not by choice. I would have moved back to Oregon in March if I didn't already have a job that I couldn't replace in this current economic climate). Not saying I am an expert or anything, but I wear a mask when I leave the house and haven't contracted Covid.

Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties are where a majority of these cases are popping in Florida. Disneyworld has a decent chance of being in a safe bubble. It's not like the players and staff are going to be drinking around the world at Epcot with the general population. Disney has massive resources, as corrupt and misguided of a company as they are. I'm sure they are bringing in mobile MRI and medical units to the Wide World of Sports, if they aren't already there.

I think the big question will be with the Disney employees that are working near and around the players. That and the sponsors/partners that the NBA is allowing to be at games and in the area. Do they get the same testing and quarantine guidelines as the players?

Call me paranoid but please don't make light of our opponents bad luck. We need all the Positive Karma we can get. We've had more than our share of bad luck and heartbreak. Lets use the positive chi to help our Boyz bring home the trophy.
