Looks like I'll be handling the award design and manufacturing, does anyone have a link to a specific style or design they'd like to recommend? Keep in mind we don't have a huge budget for this. The design will definitely incorporate clear and/or colored acrylic (probably 1/4" or 3/16" thick), with laser etching and/or engraved metal plate. I know we have some graphic designers in here, maybe once we get the list of categories finalized one of you can help with making it look as cool as possible. Sly, when you speak with the Blazers next week, find out which logos and slogans, etc. we can and can't use. I'd also like to incorporate some or all of the header graphics into the design, if possible. This is gonna be sweet!
There HAS to be a way of finding out if Andre Miller has seen this, and if he hasn't, making sure he does see it...
And the winner of the "Most ridiculous Rippys category suggestion" Rippy is ... (pregnant pause) ... Fonzthecpt1, for his nomination of "Most ridiculous Rippys category suggestion"!!! (golf clap/cue applause sign)
Can you do the pinwheel in your avatar etched in acrylic on a simple wood base with a metal engraved plate?
I think I might need to get official permission to use the logo, but yeah, that'd be a piece of cake...
The Blazers are supporting/participating the awards so I think the using the pinwheel would be okay. They might want it like it is currently titled, lol. Can you send me a mockup and I can email it for final approval.
