People like me have been demonized by President Obama. It's not my job to be a punching bag. If I were at Staples after Game 7 in 2000, would you expect me to stand in the causeway wearing the Scarlet & Black until every L*ker fan had their turn to taunt me? I've given enough. I've created enough jobs. It's not worth the hassle anymore. By the way, I love how you put yourself on a morally superior pedestal. Hilarious.
All the people you mentioned were well-frightened by the Obama campaign. Well done by them. However, while Mitt Romney may have given lip service to those issues, he was going to be an economic president. It will be interesting to see how many of these social issues will matter when they don't have a job.
Oh, no. You're just so much better than me. I'm just a money grubbing capitalist, evil to the core. Got it. Good luck.
Exactly. The government will take care of you just fine. You're the new Kunta Kinte. "Swing low, sweet chariot..."
Let's put it another way: If I choose to give money to charity rather than government, I'm evil? If I choose to pay for myself rather than have someone else pay for me, I'm "money grubbing"? You have a strange value system.
because you are borrowing money and devaluing the dollar which will lead to inflation. stimulating the economy is not free. Its just making it look pretty so the masses will think everything is fine. look at the cost increase of real goods in the last 4 years and tell me that inflation isn't happening.
Ahahahah blaming the Presidential Election result for the downfall of your business. That is Awesome with a capital A. Maybe you should’ve spent a little more time working and less time writing 12 1/2 posts a day on an internet forum, no? Delusional idiots like you and Donald Trump are at the tippy top of bullshit mountain. In fact I doubt almost everything you say. I think you’re probably a teller or clerk or something at some bank.
Some many voters on both sides are so easily distracted by the relative small stuff: Abortion issues, gay rights, Big Bird, and on and on. The budget, entitlements, the economy are the big gorilla. Ask those folks in Greece if they give a hoot about gay rights right now. What does it matter when bands of roving mobs are beating up "different" people who they blame for problems? Ask those folks in Greece if they give a hoot about abortion rights now. What does it matter about abortion "rights", when you can't find a doctor because the government isn't paying them? So many of our "rights" are worthless when an economy collapes. Voters who ignore the economy to fixate on these periphial issues will eventually learn the meaning of prioritizing.
Not at all. We don't pity ourselves. We've just read the tea leaves and our strategy of working hard, doing the right things and being careful with our money doesn't pay when you can sit on your ass and do nothing. As Denny said, it's my choice whether or not to help pull the cart. I think I'm going to take a ride and let someone else pull.
Because it's a fund. The value of the firm comes from the management. We're not working anymore. We don't have to.
Hilarious. Our business is fine. But why should we constantly run into a brick wall when we can sit on our asses? Your lack of understanding about what a simple real estate venture fund does tells me you have no idea what we do for a living.
What's funny is that on social issues, I'm with the Democrats. Not only am I in favor of gay marriage, I'm in favor of polygamy and polyandry. I couldn't care less who marries who. As for abortion, I don't really care what other people do. I am personally against it, but what other people do doesn't concern me. Frankly, the fewer kids born out of wedlock, in poverty or born retarded means a lower burden on my tax burden. However, things like global warming, gay marriage or Roe v. Wade are about 30,000th on my list of things that matter.
