Seattle and Los Angeles would fight over who gets the Clipper history, records, trophies, and old uniforms.

To keep it simple, Los Angeles could just sell Sterling to Seattle for $1.2 billion and keep the team.

Sounds like Clippers bidding is already around $1.8 billion and expected to go for over 2. No way the new owners pay that much then move to Seattle.

While i agree, we should kind of want a team up there because i'm sure it's in the back of some of our heads that Seattle could be a threat to one day steal our team as long as there isn't one up there.

I can see bus loads of psycho blazer fans setting Seattle on fire if that happens.

Clippers are the new darling in LA... They won't be allowed to leave in the foreseeable future. Especially if they get a new owner who actually wanted to win.

Not even a remote chance of Seattle stealing the Blazers.

If Ballmer gets the team the will for sure be moving to Seattle. I Magic Johnson gets the team or anyone else they will probably stay in LA.

Yeah because he wants to drop 1.8 billion on it and then devalue it immediately by going from LA to Seattle. That's ridiculous.

Ballmer is just again proving he has a check ready for the NBA. Seattle will get an NBA expansion very soon. Leagues are looking at the success of the Cascadia rivalry in MLS and are wanting to get in on it.

Why that little rascal. Did Sterling tape himself to arrange all this?

Is getting kicked out of the league, on purpose, the new way for owners to sell at triple the price they would have gotten?
