Freshman Hilinski's debut leads South Carolina to 72-10 win

South Carolina fans gave quarterback Ryan Hilinski even more love than a second string QB typically gets in his first start and the freshman with the inspiring backstory responded with a storybook debut.

Hilinski completed 24 of 30 passes for 282 yards and two touchdowns and ran for another score leading the Gamecocks (1-1) to a 72-10 win over Charleston Southern on Saturday.

No. 11 Florida loses Toney, Henderson in win over UT Martin

No. 11 Florida could be without its most dynamic playmaker when it opens Southeastern Conference play at Kentucky.

The Gators lost elusive receiver Kadarius Toney during a 45-0 victory over lower-division Tennessee-Martin on Saturday night. Toney took a hit on his left arm late in the first quarter, walked off the field in pain and eventually headed to the locker room for tests.

No. 10 Auburn's offense sluggish in 24-6 win over Tulane

In the first home start of quarterback Bo Nix's Auburn career, the true freshman had to carry the load for his offense the majority of the night.

Nix threw for 207 yards and a touchdown, No. 10 Auburn ran for 172 yards after amassing just 20 in the first half and the Tigers' defense dominated in a 24-6 victory over Tulane on Saturday night.

Burrow's 4 TD passes lead LSU over Texas 45-38

Joe Burrow was nearly perfect in the second half against Texas.

    He had to be.

With Longhorns quarterback Sam Ehlinger matching him nearly blow for blow, Burrow and No. 6 LSU's new, wide-open offense could afford to make no mistakes. They didn't, and Burrow delivered all the big throws for the Tigers in a wild 45-38 win over the No. 9 Longhorns Saturday night in one of the biggest nonconference matchups of the season.
