    Idiot Spurs fans.
"After this interview we don't want him anyway."
Sharpe rubbed some of them the wrong way.

honestly think Simons is a PG and part of his struggle is not having to pick and choose his spots like he did when Dame was out.

2nd season vs the 3rd season:

eFG%: 2nd season .469....3rd season .569 (a really good mark; 2nd on team behind Kanter)
    TS%: 2nd season .502....3rd season .589

maybe Stotts knew what he was doing

That’s fine. The theory that many people have is that kids used to play multiple sports so they were giving muscles a break that you use for basketball, but now kids are focusing in on hoops and playing year round with AAU so they’re putting a lot more mileage on their body by the time they actually get to the NBA.

Yeah, I don't where people get the idea to even suggest that he won't start next year.

Ok this resting is getting out of control.

Now we're worried about the basketball mileage on kids?

Yes. Kids that play nothing but competitive basketball year round are going to have more mileage on their joints.

I wanted to add a quick (turns out to not be so quick, sorry) story about Shaedon.
Last night, a couple hours after the final games, me and my family went to Olive Garden for dinner. As we were ordering my wife nudged me and motioned toward a family walking in...the Sharpe's. I made her promise to leave them alone but she snuck in a selfie where she accidentally got Shaedon in the background. After dinner, on our way out, I made eye contact with his dad and gave him a quick nod and smile. He reciprocated.
As we were pulling out of the parking lot, his dad came around a corner in front of me. I stopped, rolled down my window and asked "are you Dad"? He smiled and said yes. I told him they've done a great job raising their kids and we hope he's around for a long time. By this time the rest of the family was standing outside my window talking with us. I told them we didn't want to interrupt Easter dinner but I had to say something. We ended up talking for a minute or two. Every member of the family stood there smiling and exchanging comments. We were already impressed by what we had overheard during dinner and were even more surprised how friendly and willing to talk with us in the parking lot. I tried to keep it short and we drove away to them all standing and waving and saying " happy Easter" to us.
I bring this up because I've been a little skeptical about him because of what I've heard through his days at Kentucky on through the draft process. Switching high schools twice and then not playing in college made me think, even with all that talent, he might wind up being a headache. I've met and interacted with several pro athletes and was more impressed by what I saw and heard last night than ever before. I worked 20+ years in corrections so I consider myself a good judge of character. I played basketball through college and did some coaching after, too. I'll say this, I've never been around a family that was more cordial and inviting than the Sharpe's. Even his younger brother and sister were polite and engaging throughout their meal. A lot of OG employees found a reason to come to the back to where we were sitting and give the room the once over. Each time one the family noticed what my wife and I had noticed and we never heard a single word of annoyance about the interruptions.
I know it was short and not very interactive, but my wife and I came away very impressed by how they all interacted. How they were more than polite in their interactions with the staff that were obviously a little intrusive and star struck. How easy and engaging they were to talk to outside. All those questions about his character from the media were made to sound ignorant and uninformed.
The last thing I said was directed at Shaedon while pulling away was that a lot of people hope he likes Oregon and stays here a long time. His Dad leaned over in front of him and said "we do, too." We all laughed and went our ways.

Honestly if the Blazers trade Sharpe I might be done with the NBA

I’m already done with the NBA, but I might, no I will be really irritated at the Blazers and may not watch as intently. Not sure what they could realistically trade for that would make it ok for me
