Just imagine it as Dr. Dre's Detox album.

Ahhhhh, now you're making sense. Well that is VERY cool. How is he able to release it though? Is it some bootleg release that got put out?

JL lost me on that first scene with Batman and the Parademons. Just seemed really poorly written.

I think HBO is giving him the ability to finish his movie they way he wanted, including refilling scenes/filming new scenes. They reportedly gave him at least $30 million to finish it, though the head of HBO says it will cost far more. It is going to be nearly 4 hours long.

Joker and Deathstroke too? That seems a little much, but the more the merrier.

I also heard Steppenwolf wasn't even in Snyder's cut

Warner Media (A conglomerate of HBO, Turner, and Warner Bros) is allowing him to finish his version because of all the outcry and demand. Also, more money to be made and the possibility of salvaging the DC Universe. They are releasing it next year on HBO MAX, their streaming service.

I'm not really buying Joker and Deathstroke together teamed up with the Bat in THIS film. I think it was a plan in future JL movies.

Steppenwolf is definitely in but he has his design from BvS. He won't look like he did in Justice League thank God.

They teased the Injustice League. Would have been a great arch after Darkseid....actually before Darkseid. They blew their load too quick

Agreed. Snyder wanted to do a true sequel to Man of Steel before they made him stuff Batman in it. I'm still thankful for what we got. Batman v. Superman (Ultimate Edition) is an incredible art house film.

I still want a true Man of Steel sequel. Cavill said he isn't done, so we may see it. I would like to see Brainiac or Metallo.

Where are you hearing that, if I may ask? Or at least, how confident are you in what you're hearing?

Snyder wanted Metallo. WB wanted Doomsday for BvS. We know what we got.

He was the only one from the cast who didn't support the Snyder Cut on social media due to negotiations for the next Superman movie. Along the months, The Rock has asked for his return and an article came out saying they wanted to do another Superman movie and aren't messing with Supergirl anymore. Him showing up on the reveal of the Snyder Cut makes me think that WB gave him the go ahead and the promise of another Superman film. I'm 100% confident with this.

I think AT&T is starting to call the shots. I have a good feeling Affleck will be back as well -- though he might not make it to the silver screen. HBO Max for him. Theatrical for Cavill. These are my predictions.

Cavill has stated himself he is not done and that he hasn't given up the role. He wasn't happy with where Justice League went with Superman. Now that JL is being done right, he will come back. I think WB gave him the go to head too. They fucked up their DC universe and now they are working to un fuck it up.

So should I watch the other version first, before watching the Snyder Cut?

    No

Not unless you want to waste 2 hours of your life.

Well, if you want to see the difference between Snyder's vision and the atrocity that Whedon put out, that would be the only reason.
